I have very wavy to curly unruly hair. This product will not keep your hair straight after washing, however it did make my hair feel amazing and smooth. I have little to no friz even during high humidity days over 40% my hair was sleek and shiny! I looked online to see how keratin treatments were done at the salon, because at first I saw a benefit, but not spectacular. Now I wash with an organic shampoo, towel dry, then apply the keratin liberally to my hair, I let it soak for 30 minutes, then use a ceramic flat iron at 430 degrees, do not wash for three days if you can. After doing this regimen I saw amazing results!!! After washing like I said would not stay straight, but definitely cut down on straightening time. AWESOME!

This stuff is the bomb. I happened on it by accident in a big box store at a much higher price, just as I was about to risk every hair on my head. My hair is fine, 100% grey/white, curly, fragile, thinning and was colored a medium auburn. Hating the skunk stripe grow-out, I threatened my stylist monthly that I was going to strip and bleach it to a light ash that would blend with the grey. She begged me not to bleach it, warning breakage, uneven color, every disaster. On the downside of a bad job change experience, knowing I would not see anyone for a few days, I bought a raft of hair-stripping chemicals,plus this product--pricey, but 25% keratin. I figured if I had any hair left after the processing, this might help. In one weekend, I stripped my hair--twice; bleached it, colored it, highlighted it, deep conditioned and used this before styling. I couldn't believe it. While I do not recommend that ANYONE do to their hair what I did to mine, with tremendous luck and this product, my hair is blonde, smooth, no breakage, no tangles, and has the texture of--hair. I use 2-4 pumps every time I wash and style my chin-length bob. After a month of use and another coloring, went back to my stylist, who was shocked that though completely stripped my hair was actually in better condition than before the hair holocaust, light even ash blond without even that "bleachy" texture. Do not be put off by the price or the very thin "watery" texture of the product. The effect of this product is as though it is replacing the cuticle of your hair. It is light, disappears, does not "coat" or weigh down, just absorbs and after heat styling leaves smooth, shiny, "young" looking hair. Goes a long way, and especially on sale you will not be sorry.
