I really like these trays. The lids make stacking and storing very easy. No breakage yet ... but that may just be a matter of time until I drop one. [...]
I don't make a habit of tossing my dishes on the floor either, but sometimes stuff happens and things tumble out of the freezer. And when these trays fall out of the freezer and they are full of food, they break. However, if you're very careful not to drop them, these trays are great! The portion size is good for baby food and they do clean up well. The lids fit nicely and they haven't warped in the dishwasher. I used these for my first kid and now, having only one left because of my clumsiness, I'll be buying another set because they do work nicely.
I've used these trays for several months and I did have one crack but not in a place where it affects the food storage. I freeze the food and the next day let it warm a few minutes before removing the pieces and storing them in freezer Ziplocs. I like them so much I'm buying more so I can make larger batches. I would think if you don't use them for long-term storage and you take good care of them they'll work fine. I also wash them in the dishwasher.
I've had these trays for almost a month without a hint of trouble. They're fantastic, easy to use, clean up great, and haven't cracked or broken a bit. So far I've made six huge batches of baby food with them too, and run them through the dishwasher to boot. They stack great, are easy to fill... couldn't ask for more. I supposed I haven't dropped one while full and frozen, only while empty, but then again, I don't toss my dishes against the floor to see if they bounce either.
