It's a pretty bowl for sure. Perhaps I'm just to lazy to take the cover off every morning. I'm going to stick with my coffee cup soap bowl and my wife will keep ear rings in the new wooden box.

This bowl is light weight and gives extra space for brushing. The lid fits well and the bowl is very attractive.

Oddly you have to smoosh/cut/cram the Kingsley brand shaving soap to fit in the Kingsley brand soap bowl. There's many scratch marks on the bottom of mine at this point where it stays wet, and the stain comes off with a fingernail. But it works fine, and I feel classy.
