Comments about Kiss My Face Moisture Soap, Pomegranate Acai, 9 oz:
I generally like to use a product for at least a week before I comment because I don't believe that a reasonably thorough opinion can be formed from just one use (unless you have a severe reaction) of most products. At first, I wasn't sure whether I would use the Kiss My Face Pomegranate Acai Moisturizer on my face because the skin on my face is notoriously sensitive and I wasn't sure I wanted to risk a breakout. I immediately decided to test the Moisturizer as a Hand Cream the next time I washed my hands (which for me is quite often, so I didn't have long to wait) and it fulfills its promise there.
Later in the evening after washing my face I did decide to slather some on my face instead of the moisturizer I normally use because the KMF line of products tend to be formulated to be gentle so I decided to take the risk.
Initially I wasn't sure about the scent since many fragrances drive me crazy (and not in a good way) and I worried that perhaps this fragrance might be too intensely fruity. I am glad that the scent 'demures' after a few minutes and as time goes on, you are left with a subtle whiff of Pomegranate. The next morning I woke up to the very faint trace of pomegranate lightly dancing around my nose. I'm not a huge morning person (especially during the winter) but it's actually a really nice feeling to awaken to a scent like that when it's light and subtle. And most importantly, my face has not suffered any adverse reactions. It moisturizes well with no breakouts.
Since I am used to Body Butters in colder weather, I find the KMF Pomegranate Acai Moisturizer to be a bit light for winter weather. I suspect that it will make an excellent moisturizer for the summer time. I did discover, however that if I put a thin layer of Grapeseed Oil on my dampened skin just after a shower, the KMF Pomegranate Acai Moisturizer does a fabulous job and a little goes a long way! The Grapeseed Oil is odorless and not too heavy, so it doesn't compete with the Pomegranate scent. As I mentioned before, come late spring/summertime, I suspect the Moisturizer alone will be great on its own as it already is on my face.
I've shared some with my Mother, and she loves it. My niece likes it too but I am cautious with her due to her eczema.
In short, I appreciate a well made product that Moisturizes without irritation, which this product is.
