Works well, I don't know why some people say it doesn't lather well....seems fine to me. Perhaps it depends on the quality of water (hard, soft etc.)

Cleans my hair well.I use the conditioner along with this product and it is the only natural product that I can EASILY comb my long hair after using.

My husband had a real problem with dandruff that is gone now...he will not use any other kind of shampoo. We both have fairly oily hair types so this is probably the reason we don't have a problem with dry scalp as some others have mentioned. I have naturally curly hair and this product along with the conditioner work very well to nourish and clean my hair and make it manageable. The fact that there is no SLS, makes this a perfect choice for color-treated hair and if you have problems with dry scalp, the conditioner is very moistuizing and nourishing. We have used this product for about 5 years now and we won't go back to any other brand than KMF...We love it!! The price is higher (we get the best deals here at Drugstore.com) than general dept store prices, but if you buy special shampoos from a salon you will pay much more and they will be full of unhealthy chemicals that are harmful to your body and the environment! Thank you for keeping this product line and for giving us healthy green alternatives!

I have sensitive skin and have decided to try the chemical-free products. My hair is dry and this shampoo is wonderful, leaves my hair moisturized and smelling great. Good lather, too.

This is the best organic shampoo I've found. It is affordable, it doesn't contain SLS, and it smells wonderful. It has good lather for a product without SLS and it is perfect for restoring your hair to its natural state of moisture and shine (I use it with mistreated conditioner since my skin/hair are dryer than average).

It takes a little getting used to a product that doesn't cake your hair with chemicals and oils that make you think that your hair is healthy. It really will make your hair reach a natural state of health, be patient.

I've been using it for more than a year, and I absolutely love it!

i got this cause i dnt want all that chemicals in ma hair and i have thick and course hair and very dry. i love it it smells great its not bad for ur hair
it keeps it manageable theirs just one thing it didnt do for me is it really
didnt moisterize my hair still was dry

I have tried everything for my dry, itchy, dandruffy scalp and nothing works. I read that some people are sensitive to sodium laureth/lauryl sufate, so I decided to try this shampoo as it is free of SLS. Success! For the first time in years, my scalp is not irritated and itchy. I'm not crazy about the smell. It's not awful - just kind of strange. I also tried the Whenever shampoo and liked it, too. I color my hair and this seems to give it the right amount of moisture. The conditioner is nice, too.

I have straight, stubborn, Asian hair. This stuff actually softens my hair so it doesn't stick up all the time anymore. I can actually pull off that messy, layered look--like everyone's favorite underachiever.
However--and this is the big catch--something in the shampoo makes my hair really thin (think: anorexic) and makes me lose my hair when I lather. I have the Miss Treated conditioner, and it is just fine. But it seems that other people have noticed that this thing is really stringent. Definitely do not use this product on back to back days or even week to week, perhaps.
