I don't know, maybe I was using too much, but this stuff is like spreading some kind of thick slime through your hair. It leaves the hair wet and sticky for a long time if you use it on dry hair, and on wet hair it clings and makes the hair so heavy and clumpy you can barely cut through it to make a part. Needless to say, it totally weighs the hair down and takes all the wave out of my hair to boot. Just as bad, it seems to take the shine out of my hair too, and it doesn't seem to wash out so easily either. Leaves a dulling residue that gets worse the longer you use it. Right now it's been about a month for me, I'm through about half a bottle and I'm going to pitch the rest. My hair's never looked so bad or had less life. Uncle.

I love this stuff. I could not find this anywhere except online. It is definately a MEDIUM Hold. I mix water in my hands with it if I want it a thinner consistency.

This all-natural hair gel is almost, but not quite, perfect. It holds my super curly hair really well and the citrus smell is simply divine. BUT, the grapefruit essential oil in this hair gel gives my hands a raw, painful, ugly rash. As soon as I stopped using the gel, my rash cleared up. I have always had sensitive skin. If you don't, then you should definitely give this product a try.

Product works well for my short cut. Even when used the night before the hair does well the next day.

This stuff was gross! The smell was awful, and it hung around all day. It made my hair really greasy, and I lost all volume. :( I wouldn't buy this again.

All Natural is important to me and this product is.
It works great for body and hold without leaving any left over
flakes or stickyness. This is the best gel I have ever tried.

I tried this gel on my super fine, oily hair and it didn't hold at all, left a greasy dulling residue and I'm pretty sure it stripped my color. Based upon other people's comments, I tried using just a tiny bit (figured I would try different amounts and maybe one of them would work) and I still had the same problems with it. Just another disappointment when it comes to natural styling products. I wish I could find one that worked.

I have slightly wavy ,shoulder length ,fine hair. I try to get by with only a wash every two or three days. So I need a gel that will give me some body but not stick up my hair.

This one is nice. It gives some texture and some volume. I don't use heat on my hair. It is great for me.

I'm not sure it would work for the daily wash a blow dry set. It might not have enough hold.

I try several different hair products each year, and I was disappointed by this gel. I look for products with no alcohol, since it makes my scalp itch. This gel has no alcohol, but the citric acid from the grapefruit, I later found out, was pulling the toner out of my highlighted hair. I usually have to freshen my color every six weeks, but using this made me return to the stylist after four weeks. Too bad, because I like this brand.
