This is a pretty intense mud mask. I trade this off with another basic mud mask a couple times a month so as not to irritate my combination skin. It's got a very herbal smell, and definetly tingles upon application, but I really like it. I would not recommend this for sensitive or dry skin or people who do not need a clarifying mask, but for keeping my occasional breakouts down, this is great!

I love this product. A little goes along way, the product comes out of the tube fast so you have to be careful not to put to much in your hands. You don't even have to squeeze the tube, I just tip the the tube a bit and use a pea sized amount to remove oil and make-up from my face. I have combination skin and my cheeks can get a little dry while my t-zone it very oily this was great for both. It does exfoliate but not in the chemical burny way or the scrab you face way. It's amazing, you just have to try it.

When I first applied there was concern that a serious mistake had been made. Though it did not feel exactly (completely?) uncomfortable, if the sensation had threatened to escalate I would have clawed the mask from my face with finger nails and spackle knives. The smell was also powerful, herbal and medicinal, not at all unpleasant.

Fortunately, as the mask dried it mellowed out considerably until there was just a clean (but tight, a gentle coating of cement has dried on the face) feeling. This signaled time to rinse. In my 35 mineral mask using years I have never encountered an easier or cleaner rinse than the Kiss my Face Potent and Pure Pore Shrink Deep Pore Cleansing Mask. I dried and followed up with a Kiss my Face Potent and Pure spray on toner (I'd never tried a toner that I sprayed on my face before and it's a good delivery system--much better than cotton balls which feel kind of webby and creepy).

I am very pleased with both products.

i absolutely adore this product. not only do u feel it work as you apply it you also see results after its first use. since using kiss my face i have eliminated foundation out of my morning routine. every one with uneven tone and enlarged pores should run don't walk to get this product

You can literally feel this product working on your pores. Yes it may not smell the best, but it does do the job it is supposed to. LOVE IT!!!!

Hitting my late 20's, I wanted a once weekly product to maintain my healthy skin. I have no troubles with acne, but I needed to develop a skin care routine as I age. I applied this product and instantly, it began acidic burning on my cheeks. I thought it may be normal until it dries a bit, applied to my face but couldn't take it past 1 minute. It caused swelling and redness almost instantly. It was still painful so I applied a cool washcloth for a few minutes and used the moisturizer to help. It is not greasy at all however it's a bit thin but easier to apply, which I liked.

My skin is normal, not oily nor dry and I am Caucasian. I'm not sure if any of the factors I mentioned make a difference, but I wouldn't recommend this as a maintenance product but rather a quick spot treatment. It did not cause burning on my fingers, back of my hands or neck, so I feel it wasn't an allergic reaction.

I love the Potent and Pure Line, and would love to love this product, but I just can't use it. I can tell it would be great, but I can't even leave it on for a minute before it literally burns my skin. It's supposed to soothe, but it left my face, which is already prone to redness, even more red and inflamed afterwards. I might try just using it as a spot treatment, but I definitely cannot use it all over. I also wish it was a little thicker. I'd recommend it for those without sensitive skin.

When this product is drying it feels like something is pushing and pulling on your face. It's a very strange sensation. Fortunately at the end of the organic massage, your face is incredibly clean and tight feeling. It doesn't give you the wonderful "cleared of little brown trees" feeling that biore strips do on your nose, but it's still a very impressive mask. Plus, you don't need a lot of it, and it's better to use less or it takes forever to dry. The one downside? It's kind of stinky, although the smell gets better as it dries.

I am trying desperately to reduce the size of my pores. A makeup artist recommended using a clay mask and so I bought this product. After the first use, my pores seemed smaller....not gone, but smaller. It has a nice minty smell and made my face tingle. I will buy it again and recommend it to friends. I wouldn't say it dries your skin out, but it is best to follow with toner (I like one's with witch hazel) and a moisturizer.

I use this a couple of times a week in the bath. I love the earthy smell of it. It's very relaxing. It dries like mud, which I, for some reason, find really neat. It reduces my pores somewhat, keeps my face from feeling too greasy and leaves my skin feeling really soft. My one complaint would be that it's difficult to get all of it out of the bottle when you get down to the end. A more flexible bottle or tub-type packaging might work better.
