This gel is Patchouli scented, if you don't know what Patchouli smells like then don't be upset if you don't like it. I happen to love Patchouli. I stumbled across Patchouli scented incense years ago and instantly loved it. It's very much a strong, "woodsy" smell, not floral. So naturally I was very happy to find this product when I was looking for cruelty free soaps. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because it does not seem to lather very well. Now, this may just be because of the way I use it. I use a washcloth in the shower, no loofah or sponge, and on the washcloth it does lather a bit but the lather quickly disappears. Perhaps if I used a loofah it would be better. All in all though I think it's an excellent product and I will definitely be buying it again. And for anyone out there thinking of purchasing this without knowing what Patchouli smells like, I say go out and find something with the scent and see if you like it first. Patchouli is a scent you just either like it or you don't. The product barely made any bubbles and I used a ton. Even though the fragrance wasn't strong, it was a more masculine fragrance...sort of like eucalyptus. Passed it on to husband. Never got it. Service and delivery comments: I sent in my order about three weeks ago. I was sent another persons order. I received an e mail stating to call a number,which i did, and i always got a busy signal and no one has ever tried to contact me after that. So, I sent the package that was not mine back to drugstore.com and I have yet to receive the package that I paid for.
