Bought after great reviews from friends, but at my house it attracted some bugs, not mosquitos but small biting wasps that didn't really hurt but it was so annoying it drove us indoors and actually frightened my son as he became covered in a swarm! They have another product, SPF 30 and insect repellent that really does work though so don't lose faith in the makers.

I used this to go backpacking a couple times and also to go down to the creek where I live- I've not gotten sunburned or bit by a bug when I've used this stuff. A little goes a long, long way. I can use it on my face. It is oil based but that never bothered me- if you spread it lightly it disappears and you don't look greasy like a lot of the reviews of this and other kiss my face sunscreens say. So much better than deet- the herbs in this really smell good too. And I haven't been bit once this summer! I go to the creek almost every day so that's really really great.

Smells nice and does a descent job. Its soooooo much better for you than Deet! Deet is bad, bad, BAD and this is a nice compromise. After using it for a few hours in the woods, I did have to reapply after I sweat the stuff off. And as a sunscreen, it works well too. Nice combo, and if you're buying natural sunscreen AND natural bug spray, you're looking at a bunch of $, when you think of it that way its really not such a bad deal.

I did not like this product at all. I applied it before I went to the beach. It seemed fine, a little greasy, but it sunk into my skin. I reapplied it at the beach. Well, it burned upon application, and within a few minutes my skin had a bright red rash forming on it. I had to go home and wash it off. It took most of the day for it to go away. I would not recommend this product for sensitive skin.

I read a good review of Swy Flotter by Kiss My Face elsewhere, so I bought this product thinking it might give me a similar result. Plus, it doesn't have harmful Deet, I thought. This was effective for mosquitoes, but black flies in the mountain I hiked on didn't care. Deet was more effective for them.

I continue to buy this stuff, despite the high price, because it works so well. It takes care of the 2 problems I hate most...sunburn and bug bites. Although the spray is oily, it repels bugs without the stinky/toxic smell of regular bug sprays. My boyfriend uses it religiously for sunblock, also.
Apply liberally 20 minutes before sun exposure and as needed. Children under 6 years of age ask a doctor.
Spray 6-8 inches from skin and rub in. Do not spray directly onto face. Reapply as needed or after swimming, towel drying or excessive perspiration.
Other information: Sun Alert: Limiting sun exposure, wearing protective clothing and using sunscreen may reduce the risk of skin aging, skin cancer and other harmful effects of the sun.
