I am a White guy and I agree with what the Asian woman below me wrote: this product makes my hair look "frazzled."

I have used Prell (well known for its potentcy) for years and my hair has always looked great. But I wanted to try a sulfate free shampoo, because I'm aware of the potential issues that sulfates can engender. So I bought this shampoo because it was cheap and it smells great.

I've used it for a few weeks and, quite frankly, my hair looks awful. I can't figure out why. Prell is a very strong shampoo and I have oily hair, so I can't imagine this stuff is drying my hair out. Other reviews below suggest that it doesn't rinse clean. Maybe that's the case. I don't know. What I know is that my hair is a mess. It feels limp and thin (my hair isn't thick, but it's closer to thick than thin), the ends turn up in different directions and it all sort of sticks together to make it look like I'm wearing a messy toupee. It doesn't look unclean, but it doesn't look good, either. It's hard to describe. Almost as if all the hair on my head "died" and became lifeless. Not a great look.

It's too bad. It really does smell terrific. I will continue to try other sulfate free produts.

I used this a couple of times. I would never buy from this brand anymore. I used it and it looks like I need a hair cut. It made me hair really rough looking and feeling. I have Asian hair so it is really hard to make my hair look bad. I don't need to do much. It look frazzled and horrible. I used Kiss My face Whenever Conditioner as well. Keeping away from this brand.

This is a nice gentle shampoo to use everyday. It does not strip your hair like every other shampoo on the market. I have medium - long naturally straight hair, and it just keeps my hair soft and fresh and smelling so good !
(Doesn't bother my allergies either.)

The ONLY negative this about this product is that it doesn't lather well, but that is because it doesn't have sulfates! Sulfates are what makes shampoo so soapy. Unfortunately this means I have to use a lot because I have very long hair. But I also have fairly oily hair so natural shampoos do not normally cleanse it as well I would like; but this shampoo is great!! my hair is shiny and clean all day.

This does not lather well. It feels like I can not get enough onto my hair. I also did not like that it feels like it does not rinse off. I would not recommend this for someone who has a lot of hair like myself. No matter how great it smells, I need a shampoo that works.

Love the way it makes my hair feel and doesn't leave heavy residue. My sister introduced this product to me. Keeps my grey hair soft.

I have fine, straight hair that tends to get oily quickly. I found this shampoo works well to clean gently without stripping natural oils and without weighing down hair. I've been using it for the past few years and will continue to use it daily until they stop making it. I love it - it smells like a Green River Soda! I love the ingredients and think it is similar to Wen without the ridiculous price. It makes my hair shiny without being oily.

i bought this for frequent shampoo use. it does have a smalll amount of lather but my hair never felt clean. by mid day my hair felt greasy and oily, i am in my early 50's so being very oily should not be a problem like a teenager. i felt like a teenager again. back to regular shampoo. sigh.
