I ordered this kit kat clock was ordered for my wife for a birthday present and when batteries were installed the clock works but the side to side eye and tail movement does not work. this was [$] I spent and was cheap...no matter what you do you cannot keep the tail and eyes to work as they are suppose to.

I've never seen my wife happier. She's always wanted one of those and it was all she expected it to be. Good for me! It was her Valentine's gift. I got nothing, but I'm a guy and could care less for a Valentine gift... Just put the cat together and tap its tail when you're done, it doesn't need batteries for the eyes and tail to work. Only the clock needs batteries. Tap the tail and the tail should start wagging with the eyes. It's all about the magnets!

Many years ago my grandmother gave each of her children a Kit Cat clock as a Christmas gift plus she got one for herself. So you see, we grew up with the clock in our kitchen for many years. I saw the clock a month ago at drugstore.com and had to have it.At first I was a bit disappointed when I opened the box with the clock in it. It seemed so much smaller than the electrical one my parents had in their kitchen while I was growing up. After getting the tail attached and hanging it up it didn't look that much smaller than the one my parents had. Now, having it up for a few weeks, it looks just like the old one that I knew many years ago.Because it has no electrical cord, I could hang the clock up any where I wanted to and having a log house with vertical supporting beams, I hung it on one of the beams in my kitchen. It looks wonderful!! When I sit at our kitchen table and see it, I'm back in my parent's kitchen again. This clock simply warms my heart with happy memories of days gone by. I told my brother about it and he immediately ordered the clock for himself. [...] he is very happy with it. I only wish the eyes and hands on the clock illiminated in the dark like my parent's clock but that's it. I think I will give a clock to both of my children as a Christmas gifts this year, just like my grandmother did for her children many years ago

I gave this clock as a gift and she loved it! Drugstore.com had the BEST price for this clock on the internet! A GREAT value and a great gift! Worked great on the wall (eyes and tail moved without problems). It was easy to add 2 C batteries and hang the tail. If you like the looks of this classic clock, you will love it.
