As other reviewers have noted, this can give an ashy cast to dark hair. I noticed it less with a thorough brushing, but you have to be careful. My principal gripe about this product is that I only got four uses out of it -- fine if you're only packing it for a long weekend, but I expected much more. For your money, I think the travel size Oscar Blandi is a much better buy -- and it works well on dark hair as well as light.

Bottom line: this is not a great product. It comes out in a dense jet that leaves very bright, opaque white powder in concentrated deposits on your head no matter how far away you spray from. It's very difficult to brush out, and you definitely need a very densely bristled brush to do it. Ultimately I had to towel my hair with a dampened towel for best results, and it is also way overpriced for the tiny, tiny amount you get. It makes dark hair look dull and grayish even when you comb it through well. Don't waste your money.

I have used other dry shampoos before, and I keep coming back to this one. It works great in 1-2 day dirty hair that gives you the "greasies" around your face and ears when you are in a hurry and don't have time for a wash and blow dry. It is very mild and adds great volume. When I first started using it, I was turned off by the smell (a bit like old lady powder), but after smelling other dry shampoos, this one actually smells the best. Just as an FYI this is a small trial size. I usually buy the large size (usually around $24-27), but this is great if you are trying it for the first time.

This was my first time trying a dry shampoo product, so I was looking for something small and affordable to minimize my commitment. The first spray seemed to turn my hair white but this can be brushed out. Afterwards, my hair got very staticy. The smell is okay.

This stuff works really well, it smells okay and it definately makes greasy hair look clean. However, every single time I use it people ask me all day "did you change your hair color" "did you get highlights?" "why did you dye your hair?!" I have strawberry blonde hair that some people call red and others call blonde, knowing that my my hair was light to start with I thought the product being white wouldn't make a big difference and show up but it does. No matter how much I brush it through people ask me why I lightened my hair until I wash the product out.

I have hair that I have to wash daily, with all the shampoo and conditioner that I use I was looking for a product that wouldn't leave any chemicals in my hair. I have very long hair, and it gets greasy if I don't wash it everyday, I was hoping to find something that wouldn't be heavy, but would leave my clean and happy. This isn't a bad product, it just didn't work for me.

When I don't have time to wash my hair this spray saves time. You can also use it if you accidently put too much hair product in your hair.
