I love using this product when I don't feel like washing my hair every day, or am in a hurry. I simply puff a small amount of the product onto my roots where my hair is the oiliest, leave it on for a few minutes, and then use a towel to gently rub it out, followed by a good brushing. This seems to be key in preventing gray-looking hair from the powder (people with blonder hair may not have this issue). If necessary, I use the towel to rub a bit more of the product out if my hair still looks slightly gray.

Alternately, if I know I will not have time to wash my hair the next morning, I will apply the night before to prevent oily hair in the morning--and can then skip a lot of the towel-rubbing the next day.

I would not recommend leaving this product in for longer than two days, or reaplying the product a second time before washing, as it causes my head to itch. The puff application also leaves a little to be desired in that it can be difficult to control the amount of product applied.

Overall, great product where just a little goes a long way (I have had my bottle for over 2 years).

Have used this particular dry shampoo for a few years and it's more effective than baby powder and designed for its use. The only drawback is that it may leave white streaks even after brushing it through. Very gentle. A real safety net on those days when you can't quite get it together.

This is a product I always have on hand as stylists recommend washing hair every other time or less. When Drugstore.com offers 20% off hair care, I stock up! I happen to have extremely oily hair and I use every other day. It adds volume to my hair as well and since I color my hair, I feel that I am prolonging my color by NOT washing so frequently and using dry shampoo instead. This is my favorite brand and I prefer over any aerosol version.

I've tried a few dry shampoos and this is the best one yet. This one doesn't smell like anything whereas all of the other ones I have tried are disgusting and give me a headache.

I saw that there are a few reviews stating this is "glorified talc powder". I know many are concerned about inhaling talc because of the potential link to cancer. THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT CONTAIN TALCUM POWDER. Not sure if other dry shampoos have talc, but if they do than I'm glad I use this one.

It is white powder so you have to be careful how much is used, especially if you have dark hair (I have dark brown hair). I actually usually pour a little on my hand and put it in my hair, or you could use a large makeup brush to apply. With careful application the bottle lasts FOREVER.

I've recently converted to using only cleansing conditioners on my hair (ie, Wen or the L'Oreal Evercreme one). I do that every other day, so on days that I don't wash my hair, I use this. It's fantastic- the method of squeezing the bottle to 'spray' puffs of the product into your hair is much more effective than other dry shampoos that have you sort of 'dump' the product right onto your head. My hair can get pretty oily, especially around my face, from where I'm frequently touching my hair and pushing my bangs off to the side, and this product really soaks up all the oils. It is much more effective than the baby powder that I was using before. It has a nice, light, powdery 'clean' smell. Plus, I really like that it's so gentle- I try to stick with hypoallergenic products. Overall, Klorane has definitely won me over!

I have a very oily scalp and normally wash my hair daily, but this does a great job of making second-day hair look neat and clean. It also adds subtle grip and volume to clean hair for updos. My hair is very dark brown, but I never see any visible residue even if I just use my fingers to distribute - it's even easier if you use a brush. Not as mattifying as some other dry shampoos that I've tried, which is a plus in my book. I LOVE that this is not an aerosol. No horrible propane or other smelly propellants. You just squeeze the bottle (held upright) to release a targeted "puff" of product. The scent is extremely light, which is a huge plus for me. Oscar Blandi dry shampoo also works well, but it has a strong perfumey scent that I can't stand.

I would recommend this out of all the other products sold on this site. It's quick easy and instantly fluffs up my baby fine hair when I don't have time or don't want to wash it every day.

I wish manufacturers wouldn't put so much fragrance in items, but, it does eventually dissipate. I do, however, have sensitive skin. It's not nearly as bad as some of the others that gag me.

I have tried almost every spray and powder on the market at all price points, and this is truly the best.You need to get used to using a powder,you may get white residue on dark hair, but it can be brushed through.Fragrance is very light,leaves my hair shiny and full of volume.Washing my hair only twice a week is healthier for my hair,maintains my color, and makes my life much easier.Worth the money.

i have thick, straight, jet-black asian hair. my hair gets greasy after a day and a half which sucks because i get the best styles out of my hair the day after i wash my hair. this product allows me to make through the next night without the greasy mop top. very useful!
