Cyperus esculentus L. is a plant from the Papyrus family used since ancient Egypt. Its roots have a shape of small brown tubers when mature, that are very rich in fatty acids and polar lipids. They are harvested and finely ground to obtain a golden fluid oil that contains active molecules. Then from this emulsified oil is produced the Klorane papyrus milk.
Formulated with an extra-milk cleansing base, papyrus milk repairs, smoothes and softens the hair. Results: frizz is controlled. Hair is silky and soft, styling is facilitated and holds throughout the day. Hypoallergenic.*

Comments about Klorane Shampoo with Papyrus Milk, Dry and Unruly Hair, 13.4 fl oz:
I like this shampoo (and the Papyrus Milk Conditioner) a lot - but I think what's keeping me from giving it 5 stars is it's a bit drying if your hair is damaged and/or overly dry.
My hair is long (probably too long!) and while the roots are normal, the ends are quite dry. I shampoo every other day and find that in addition to the shampoo and conditioner, I need a little "extra" conditioning for truly smooth, silky hair. I just add a little bit of leave-in and it does the trick.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
