Attention: Important Information About Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS)
Sudden fever (usually 102 degrees or more), vomiting, diarrhea, fainting or near fainting when standing up, dizziness, or a rash that looks like sunburn can all be warning signs of a rare but serious illness, Toxic Shock Syndrome ("TSS"). This illness can cause death. Should these symptoms occur, discontinue use and consult a physician immediately. You should also consult a physician before using tampons if you have had TSS warning signs in the past.
Women using tampons during their menstrual period are susceptible to the risk of contracting TSS. The reported risk of TSS is higher among teenage girls and women under 30 years of age, but it can occur at any age. The incidence of TSS is estimated to be 1 to 17 per 100,000 menstruating women and girls per year.
Studies indicate that higher absorbency tampons increase the risk of contracting TSS; therefore, we suggest you use tampons with the minimum absorbency needed to control menstrual flow in order to reduce the risk of contracting TSS. The chart on this package (see Product Details) indicates the appropriate product for your different needs.
You may avoid the risk of getting tampon-associated TSS by not using tampons, and reduce the risk by alternating tampon use with the use of sanitary napkins or pantiliners during your menstrual period. Please consult a physician if you have any further questions.

I am 26 and have tried using tampons FOREVER and never could!! I was so bummed, all my friends said they were great, and I wanted to go swimming but was constricted by my options. Got one of these in the mail as a sample, and finally tried it after being incredibly nervous from bad past experiences. These are FANTASTIC! Great applicator, super comfortable, I couldn't even tell I was wearing it, and I swam with no difficulties or pain. These are truly amazing and I recommend to anyone who has had a hard time trying tampons to try these!

I have a light flow so Regular is always good enough for me, but these things are HUGE. When I unwrapped it, I really thought that I accidentally ordered Super or something. I took the actual tampon out of the applicator and is really loose- it practically falls apart when I rub it between my thumb and forefinger. The string isn't even sewn in, it's just tied in. When I insert these, it's pretty uncomfortable. If you're small down there and use nothing but regular-size tampons, stay away from these!

I just tried these and I'm 17. I tried tampons when i was 12-13 and never could get used to them. So for the next 5 years I used pads, one day I just got sick of pads and ordered some tampons. I ordered Tampax Pearl, Playtex Gentle Glide, and Kotex tampons. I tried every brand and the Kotex is so comfortable. It was really easy to insert. I definitely recommend these.
The tampon is too big. The regular size is even larger than the super size tampons from other brands. It is painful when insert in and remove them. I also have a sample of the super size and I don't want to try it at all.

I normally don't use tampons although I have tried a few. I first used this brand when I received a sample in the mail. After that, I was hooked!! This is the first tampon that I haven't had a complaint about. They are comfortable and absorbent and fit into my lifestyle.
This is the best tampon ever!!! Not even the Pearl can be compared to this product!!! I've tried at least 6 different brands of tampons, and this is the best I can find. It's so comfortable that I almost forget that it exists (the cotton thread is very soft and doesn't irritate my skin), seriously! It also provides good protection even at night, so I highly recommend it to everyone.
These are the best tampons I've ever used. I've gotten lots of free samples over the years, but in my opinion, these are the most comfortable, most reliable, and best priced. I get anywhere from medium to heavy flow each month, so I usually start off with the regulars and only go up if I need to. I almost never need to. These tampons seem huge compared to a lot of other brands, but they are comfortable and they work.
I did like these tampons. They were very, very comfortable, and didn't hurt at all. The price also wasn't the worst. The only thing I didn't like about them is that the applicator is REALLY big. Made it kind of complicated to insert. Besides that it's a great tampon, I do recommend you give it a try.
Wash your hands first. Take off the tampon's plastic wrap and throw it away, but DON'T FLUSH IT!
Check the applicator to make sure the string is firmly attached by giving it a little tug. Push gently on the plunger and make sure the tampon is positioned snugly against the applicator petals.
To put in the tampon, find a comfortable position either sitting (with your knees apart) or standing with one foot elevated.
Put the applicator tip into the opening of your vagina and gently glide it toward your lower back.
Keep easing the applicator in until you've inserted as far as the ring of the outer insertion tube. Continue holding the applicator, and then push the inner tube into the outer tube.
When the rings of the applicator are together, the tampon is in correctly. Gently remove both tubes, making sure the string is outside of your body. DON'T FLUSH the applicator!
To remove the tampon, relax and pull on the string at the same angle as the tampon was inserted. Change your tampon at least every 4 to 8 hours. Remove each tampon before putting in a new one. Remember to remove the last tampon at the end of your period.
If you have trouble getting the tampon out, see your doctor or clinic for help.
