I used Tampax for years, and was not happy with their "new" design, so I tried the Kotex Security because of the reviews. I was disappointed. I hate these tampons. I find them uncomfortable to use, and they didn't protect any better than the new Tampax design does for me. I won't be buying these again.

I really like these tampons because I like plastic applicators. They are so much easier to use than cardboard. I also like that they are unscented because I have very sensitive skin. Also, the cord is thin, I have tried other tampons with a thicker cord and they are very uncomfortable. These tampons are very comfortable.

When I look for cheaper tampons, I usually end up with ones that have terrible/uncomfortable applicators. These, however, are a great value and have good applicators on them. They aren't the most discrete (the barrels are pretty large), but they serve well for heavier periods or longer periods of time.

I, too, switched to these when Tampax came out with it's terrible new design. I had used Tampax for 20 years, but that ended with their 'new and improved' mess they tried to pass over on women. These tampons are fairly easy to use, they are pretty comfortable, and they stand up to being in a purse without the package getting ripped or the tampon getting squished. I do wish Kotex still had it's 'stick' tampons from years back--I liked those and the applicator was much more environmentally friendly. But, given Tampax's new design, I'm using these--and I've tried a lot of different brands over the past year or so.

These tampons are so reliable. I am so happy I tried them after years of using Tampax. The new Tampax design is awful...they leak like crazy.

The only negative thing is that the applicator and wrapper are non-biodegradable. I wish they would go with cardboard and paper.

No frills, no fancy name, but the best tampon and applicator ever made. The applicator has a real grip, you could almost push this tampon into a soda straw! They are also a bit larger then other brands and that means better protection and fit. I have never had one leak. Even after sex, they will stay put.

Great protection. Very little leakage. But would still recommend use with a pantyliner.
