I wanted to use these as knee socks to wear under boots--I wanted the "kushiness" to add a cushion between my foot and the sole of the shoe which can be very hard. These are not for this. They aren't made of very fine material and have no noticeable cushioning. The price is too much for, basically, very ordinary socks you could get in a multi-pack in a drugstore for far less. I will not be buying again.
