This vitamin c, in the form of L-ascorbic acid, is the only form immediately active on skin. Its properties are remarkable on signs of skin aging. Its formulation enriched with vitamin C and La Roche-Posay thermal water, rich in trace elements, protects against oxidation, an important skin aging factor.
Vitamin C is an active agent that oxidizes and gets darker when in contact with air. Before closing the tube, it is necessary to wipe off the side of the tube in order to avoid the darkening of the emulsion. Please note that Vitamin C skin preparations may occasionally stain certain fabrics. To prevent fabric stains ensure that Active C is well absorbed before allowing contact with clothing, bed linens or towels.

I bought this product as it is one recommended for my skin type by Dr. Baumann. I love how it feels, creamy, smooth and feels great in the morning under my make up and at night before bed. I saw results from the start in that my skin was softer and less flakey. I will try more products in this line now that I see the quality of their products.
