This Anti-Wrinkle treatment helps to fade melasma, plump fine lines, and keep skin soft. It is excellent for use beneath sunscreen, because it has a wonderful mattifying effect. I love La Roche Posay products, but the Active C Anti-Wrinkle Dermatological Treatment, Normal to Combination Skin doesnt show noticeable results on my skin. It actually gave me a spot on my forehead, though it is not greasy and dries too fast at the point you waste a lot of product. This can be common in cosmetics with vitamin c, but this one simply doesnt do anything but to hydrate a little bit my skin after washing it before going to bed.

My doctor gave me a sample and I loved it. But, it always seemed too expensive in the store. I was happy with the price on drugstore.com and I LOVE the product! A little goes a long way and I love the way my skin feels. Moisturizing, but not too greasy.

I use Active C (normail to combination) in the a.m. after showering, on face and neck. It absolutely is a God-send, especially in winter. Simply sooths and moisturizes, without causing break-outs, and makes all fine wrinkles disappear. Plus, your skin has an amazing glow within minutes. I use no face make-up, ever, even though I am 50+ years old. A little tube goes a long, long way, and I often apply at night in the dryer months, using it in rotation with other night-time products that have Retin A.

I promise you La Roche is incredible. Everything of theirs is top notch. Active C absolutely works. I see the difference in photographs of myself. As the maker warns, it can stain fabrics such as your pillow case so I recommend applying it in the morning under make-up.This is good stuff!
After thoroughly cleansing skin, apply active c to face morning and/or evening. Suitable for the most sensitive skin.
Vitamin C is an active agent that oxidizes and gets darker when in contact with air. Before closing the tube, it is necessary to wipe off the side of the tube in order to avoid the darkening of the emulsion. Please note that vitamin C skin preparations may occasionally stain certain fabrics. To prevent fabric stains ensure that Active C Eyes is well absorbed before allowing contact with clothing, bed linens or towels.
