I used this on the recommendation of my dermatologist. It is indeed one of the most gentle cleansers I have ever used. It does not remove makeup, heavy duty sunscreens, or facial oil/sebum. If you have oily skin and wear makeup on a daily basis you will need an additional makeup remover or cleanser to do the job. But, there are some days when my skin burns from my rosacea and this is one of the few products I can tolerate when this happens. I wouldn't use this on a daily basis, however.

WHAT AN AWESOME PRODUCT FOR MY SENSITIVE / ROSACEA SKIN . THIS IS SO WONDERFUL AND IT IS TRULY THE BEST CLEANSER I HAVE EVER USED ON MY FACE . I have been using this product for 5 years...can't go a day without it. Originally recommended by my esthetician and helps my skin stay soft and supple.A little goes a long way. I highly reccomend it especially to women over 45 who need something more gentle to wash with.

I have been searching for a cleanser that will not irritate my reactive skin for almost 20 years now...this is the one! If you have extremely sensitive skin that gets red, dry and irritated easily, give this cleanser a try. It is well worth the price. I've been using it for over a year now and it has completely changed and evened out my skin tone, even though we've had a frigid VT winter so far, which usually wreaks havoc on my skin.
I would hesitate to suggest this to someone with a more oily skin complexion-not sure how well it deep cleans.

My sister who is a nurse and has very sensitive skin gave me a sample to try. My skin is combination especially in the winter. I used the sample and was very impressed. It balances out my skin, leaving it soft without a greasy feeling. I love the product and so I purchased it online because drugstore.com had the best price.

I love this odor-free, gentle non-foaming cleanser that is effective even on eye makeup. After slightly moistening my face, I apply a nickel-size dab, then rinse thoroughly in warm water. It never stings my eyes or leaves a tight, burning sensation, any my face is absolutely clean without a greasy feel. For me, this is THE best cleanser I've ever used.
