I bought this product after many reviewers here and at other sites said it was basically the same product as DHC Velvet Skin Coat - which I love but is very expensive. So I tried it thinking it has almost the same ingredients, so maybe it is the same. The first time I used it I had a reaction that took days to go away - my face burned, checks had lumps and swelled. Lovely. Lesson learned. This is great for areas that chafe, like the inner thigh or arms, and has a silky feel. True, I do have sensitive skin, but it is NOT for your face...

I use the anti chafing gel every time I shower. I suffered for many years with rashes when I sweat. I tried all kinds of powder. None of them worked. I saw the Lanacane at my local grocery. The product was a little pricey, until I found drugstore.com. I save a little when I order from drugstore.com and when it's on sale, I stock up. This product has given me relief that I thought near impossible. I'll keep it on hand all the time.l

You use only a tiny amount compared to other creams or ointments. Does not burn on contact, very soothing.

I use this product where my skin has cracked and will not heal. I also use it so the skin will not crack and break open. I feel it is a lifesaver for my skin. If I could name it I would call it Crease Grease.

Looking at the ingredient list can be confusing, but the DIMETHICONE products are basically silicone and in everything from makeup to anti-perspirant. Google it and you'll see that it's used in many products from companies including Avon, Aveeno, Clinique, Clarins, Neutrogena, Kiehl's, and Chanel. The items I listed as "similar products I own" all have it and are available here.

This product works great - a little bit goes a long way, too. Great for preventing chafing when working out or any physical exercise. Works especially good for under breasts.

Last couple of years I have had problems with chaffing under my breasts, especially in the summer months. This is the first product I have found that works! Once it has healed what I have had going on it prevents it from coming back. It doesn't sting or anything when applied. I use it everyday. It isn't long either between applying it and being able to put my clothes on. I highly recommend it to anyone with the same problem.
