I used it as a nipple conditioner and protector while nursing all three of my children, for a total of 58 months of nursing. Because I used Lansinoh, I NEVER had chapped or sore nipples. Now that my children are older, I continue to use this product as a lip balm at night with my CPAP (for sleep apnea) and I always have soft, smooth lips. There is no taste, so it doesn't bother anyone sensitive to fragrance. I use this on chapped skin, diaper or other similar rashes, and anywhere the skin is very dry or in need of healing. I've never regretted using it for anything and I always keep an extra tube on hand. I highly recommend Lansinoh lanolin. VS Most Liked Negative Review not so much... The equivalent Madela product goes on smoothly (without having to "work it" with your fingers) and doesn't force you to manhandle your already sensitive nipples. I wished I could return this product and I wouldn't recommend it to my friends. Reviewed by 53 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » 2/2/2012 Soothing thing Pros

I found out the hard way I was allergic to lanolin. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Lansinoh HPA Lanolin for Breastfeeding Mothers: A safe, wonderful product that I use both as recommended and in other ways. My actual favorite use for this stuff since I'm not using it so much for breastfeeding anymore is my lips. A very small amount goes a long way, and I have horribly chapped lips when breastfeeding/pregnant and Lansinoh lanolin is amazing. Better than any lip balm I've ever used. Also use for nipple care before or after each shower and A LOT the first two or so months post-partum. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Lansinoh HPA Lanolin for Breastfeeding Mothers: Started using this when I was breastfeeding for sore nipples. One day I was nursing and my lips were chapped so I just rubbed some on my lips. Best thing I've ever used. I find petroleum based products dry my lips & skin after they wear off. Not the lanolin. Great if you're a skier or outdoor person in colder climates. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Lansinoh HPA Lanolin for Breastfeeding Mothers: Initially used it for breastfeeding and worked great. Once I was done breastfeeding I still had some product left and didn't want it to go to waste so I tried it on my lips (figured why not if it's safe for a baby). It is the best thing for chapped lips because it's so thick and creamy it stays put unlike Vaseline which just wipes off in one swipe. My lips healed quickly. Now I will ONLY use this product for my chapped lips and a little goes a long way. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Lansinoh HPA Lanolin for Breastfeeding Mothers: Started using this when I nursed my babies. Worked great for that, but also works great for chapped lips and sore noses. My family now uses it in the winter for their lips and under their noses when their nose is sore from using lots of tissues! Works great. Just apply at bedtime and in the morning your lips and nose are like new! Not waxy, not smelly, and no taste too! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Cons Best Uses
Comments about Lansinoh HPA Lanolin for Breastfeeding Mothers: Don't laugh, but I use this as chapstick and it's GREAT! I was having trouble finding a lip product that moisturized and conditioned, and while I'm prone to fever blisters from the sun or a cold on my lips, I have yet to get one from using this. I figure it's safe to wear if newborns can get it in their mouths. The tube lasts forever when you're only using it as chapstick. And it makes your lips plump, moisturized, and adds a hint of shine. I love it! Say goodbye to chapped lips with this stuff. It's virtually impossible to get chapped anything when you use this product regularly. Cons Best Uses Comments about Lansinoh HPA Lanolin for Breastfeeding Mothers: My nails were splitting into the quick. Try this on clean unploished nails, It is sticky for the hands so I use a cotton swab and put it on my nails only. It really moisterizes the nail bed and keeps my fingernails form shredding! Cons Best Uses
Comments about Lansinoh HPA Lanolin for Breastfeeding Mothers: I had a tube of this years back from nursing and never used much of it. Every winter my oldest son would develop dry cracking skin on the backs of his hands, especially the webbing to his thumb and the back of his thumb. After trying every lotion under the sun to clear this, I finally applied this liberally at night and put socks on his hands so he wouldn't rub it off while he slept. The cracking was healed overnight, and by end of second night, dryness and scaling had dissappeared. Now, I use it on him when first scaling signs appear and by morning, they're soft and supple again. I now have three children and use it on all dry/scaly/cracked skin conditions. I swear by this stuff!! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next »
