I had to mix this in with another leave-in as it was wayyyy too heavy to use on its own. I use a pencilhead amount, and even then I have to be careful as it can weigh down hair really fast. It's not the best leave in for this reason. Mind you, I have curly hair that needs the conditioning due to color, but although my hair is curly, it is a finer texture, even though its thick - so I don't even want to imagine what it would do for wavy hair. Maybe if you're straightening your hair this would be good, but the consistency makes me worry about product buildup over time.

I've been using L'anza Leave-in Conditioner for the last 20 years and I'm so glad that it's still around. It's light enough that it absorbs right into your hair for eliminating frizziness and preventing split ends. I can always tell a difference if I forget to use it. For maximum effect, wrap you hair in a towel for a half hour before drying.
