I tried these as an attempt to get an extra serving of fruit and am surprised to say, i REALLY like these. The almonds are an added bonus. It's a very tasty bar and not too sweet with a nice slightly tart cherry flavor. Although calling it Cherry Pie is a stretch :-) I would buy these again! Comments about Larabar Fruit and Nut Food Bar, Cherry Pie Bars, 16 ea: I first had a sample of this bar at my acunpuncturist's office and immediately fell in love with the flavor. It is full-on tart cherry, so if you love cherries like I do, you'll love this bar. It's not at all like most health/snack bars that are super nutty and crunchy. This one is more fruity and chewy. It does still have plenty of nuts, but they're finely chopped inside the fruit bar. It's simply delish. I also have the lemon bars which come in a close second on my delish-nish scale and the chocolate peanut butter bars which everyone else rates very highly but I don't love that much. Pros

Comments about Larabar Fruit and Nut Food Bar, Cherry Pie Bars, 16 ea: Yum! They use sweet black cherries in these, so the bars aren't sour even though the sugars are moderate. I like that they aren't quite as sweet as a dessert. When I eat one for breakfast it doesn't set off food cravings like sweet desserts do. All I do is have a cup of soy or skim milk (I'm a vegetarian but not a vegan), and I'm set until lunch. If it had a bit more protein like the Pure Organics bars do, I could just have one w/ a cup of tea, which would be more convenient. But these taste a lot better than the Pure organic bars do. Pros

Easy to take along with a long shelf life even unrefrigerated, the Cherry Pie Larabar will be my back to school favorite for lunch boxes and emergency kits. Even my picky son who's still stuck in his macaroni and cheese phase at 12 years old (yeah, don't ask *rolls eyes*) agreed with the Cherry Pie Larabar. Good bye Kellogs bars with strange ingredients and too much added sugar. Pros
