Of all the Larabar Jocalat bars I've tried (I've tried all except the mint chocolate, I usually don't care for that flavor combo) this is my favorite. Good chocolate flavor, tasty nuts, not overly sweet. This is the best/only organic snack bar that's not full of added sugar, soy, puffed rice, or other junk.

Love these. Not so sweet that I crave them and eat the whole box. Great pick-me-up with intense chocolate taste. A bit crunchy but overall very smooth. Super with coffee...

Normally I make our own fruit and nut bars which are heavenly - rich and delicious. We keep a supply of Lara and Boomi bars for a "tuck in the purse" supply and for emergency rations when there are no homemade bars available.

We think the Lara bar pecan pie is the best of the Lara line (with ingredients that we can eat) for flavor and richness. We ordered the Jocalat hoping it would be as good as the pecan pie. It is definitely chocolate, but not close to the pecan pie for flavor. Even though this is definitely a healthy snack, it tastes similar to cheap "Little Debbie" type packaged poisonous chocolate brownies....in other words, pretty darned bland. We won't be buying it again. We all have our own taste standards...other people might love these bars.

The perfect thing when I want my "chocolate fix." It's got a good crunch from the nuts and it's not too sweet. Delicious little snack.

I love dark chocolate, but this was bitter. Horrible taste.

I was sorry when the nectar bars went away, so I'm delighted to have found these. They aren't cheap, but they are delicious, healthful and hit the chocolate spot.

I used to enjoy the Clif Nectar Cacao (blue wrapper) a LOT, which I'd bought here, but it's no longer produced, so I had to find a sub. This is it, though pricier. I really need my chocolate fix though, so here I am. I sure hope this doesn't get discontinued too!

This food bar is not only delicious but satisfying. Almost all other food bars are loaded with sugar and give me that sugar after taste and feeling. When I eat this bar I feel like I just ate something ultra-nutrious (I know it sounds crazy but it's true). I particularly like the plain chocolate bar.

Since I love dates & I love chocolate, this is the perfect mix for me. The texture takes a little getting used to. But they really are good - and sweet!
