I wanted to love this mascara based on the fact that it's natural and got a great review from a so-called makeup expert. And the truth is, it's my go-to mascara because it leaves my lashes soft (I hate the way the Dr. Hauschka mascara makes my lashes feel brittle), is easy to remove, and, as long as I don't cry, gives my blonde lashes a nice, natural looking tint on days when I want to look like I'm not wearing any makeup.
However, even when removing excess product from the wand before applying, flecks of it invariably end up on my cheeks and under my eyes upon application, and as aforementioned, it usually runs a little when you cry. Still, cleanup is easy, I can dap a tiny bit of coconut oil or makeup remover and it's gone instantly - without smearing or leaving streaks the way all other mascaras do. That seems more like something a natural mascara should do since it shouldn't have a ton of icky residue in it. For this reason, despite the fact that I would love for it to lengthen and thicken my rather puny lashes (it doesn't), I reach for it every day.
