Following a fervent hunt for prime ingredients, we found that over four billion years of research and development has already gone into crafting choice lavender oil and orange peel. Mother Nature...now that's one clever lady.

LEAP Organics is raising the (soap) bar on organic skincare products. Each of its products is made entirely with plant-based ingredients, including lemongrass, eucalyptus, cucumber and pomegranate extracts. Founder Luke Penney has even taken steps to meet USDA certified organic standards, the world’s strictest standards, which require that products have at least 95% organic ingredients.
Another of Luke’s priorities is to keep prices affordable. LEAP’s Exfoliating Face Wash will gently exfoliate and replenish your skin – but it won’t break the bank. Neither will the Facial Cleanser (a blend of sweet orange, grapefruit, green tea and cucumber extracts), Facial Toner (which balances the skin while it hydrates) or the Daily Face Lotion (a light moisturizer that helps to restore elasticity).
Sustainability also ranks high on Luke’s agenda. LEAP’s gluten-free Body Bars are cruelty-free, biodegradable and produced using renewable energy. Plus, Luke donates 3% of LEAP’s annual revenue to nonprofit environmental initiatives. “Our true profitability is measured by the positive impact we have on our brand, the company, our people, our community and the environment,” Luke writes on LEAP’s website.
Organic, affordable, altruistic. It’s a recipe for healthy skin and a squeaky clean conscience.

Danielle Daily Grommet Team Jan 6th, 2011 @ 1:54 PM I got some LEAP products as well and loved them! A caveat: LEAP products have legs! They will walk right into your mom's bathroom where you will have to go to steal them back!
