I love Let's Jam. It smells great, gives hair hold (especially relaxed & if you hair has to be slicked back all of the time) and makes hair look shiny. The only reason I gave it "4" stars was because mineral oil is very harsh on African American Hair. It causes dryness and hair breakage/damage.
If you are desperate for some hold then this is the product for you but try to find a product that doesn't contain mineral oil.

I use the Jam gel on my edges. It holds them down at first but towards the end of the day they are sticking up again. I do like the product though. It has a nice smell and doesnt make your hair hard and crusty. It makes my hair soft.

I have used this product for YEARS also, the only con is that it doesn't come in larger size jars or come in multipacks etc. I have to keep buying small jars instead I would prefer to buy big jars because it works the best for my whole families hair.
I am not a hair dresser but do other people's hair often, braids, perms etc and I always have to have my Let's Jam with me just to get started!

I twist my hair and nothing works better than this to help hold my hair and add a wonderful shine.

I've been using this product for years, on and off. It is the only thing I've found so far that leaves my curls shiny and soft. There is no crunch, like with all the mousses and gels out there. The only "issue" I've had is when my hair felt heavy and greasy, and this was ONLY due to putting too much on. If and when I don't scoop out too much, this product works great!!!
