My girls 9 and 12 got lice I was treading it. I went to drug store got this licemd worked great. It even took eggs out but a few which I picked out. If you follow directions it works better then nix and rid and better for kids.

After having treated my daughter's hair for lice 3 times with Nix with no success, I found this product online and decided to give it a try as we were at wit's end. Although it was messy, it didn't have the awful odor of the Nix. Plus I like the fact that it's not a pesticide I'm putting on my daughter's head. I couldn't believe what still came out of her hair. This was 3 weeks ago and we are still lice-free!

This product is a bit messy, but well worth the cleanup. This is the first product I tried to combat the lice my daughter had. Within minutes of saturating her hair, all the lice I found were dead. She has thick waist length hair, and although we were both exhausted after an hour and a half of combing, I feel that the $$ was well spent on this product. I can't imagine trying to nit-pick her hair without this lubricant. Would definitely recommend this product.

We've used this product more times than I care to admit or remember but each time, it's been 100% effective at killing lice. Just remember that combing and thoroughly cleaning bedding/coats/stuffed animals/etc is the other half of the battle. I wish that part were as easy as Lice MD.

My 5 year old got lice for the first time and I am glad that I chose to use this product. After reading many people commenting many lice killer don't work and had to repeat many treatments, I was fully prepared to do several try. I am happy to report that after just one treatment, my girl is lice free. I kept checking for 2 weeks and they are gone for good.

I came home from the hospital with a newborn and little did I know - lice! When I discovered the louses and eggs I called the pediatrician right away to find out what I could use as I'm breastfeeding. We also determined that our 3 year old had it as well. She recommended LiceMD as it has no pesticides. We read about it online and my husband went to the local store to buy it. As I have long curly hair and I had it the worst we knew I'd need a second treatment so we ordered a couple of more bottles from drugstore.com. This was way better than the stuff my parents had to use on us when we were kids. My 3 year old sat still through the whole process with no issues! We didn't have to treat her twice because it was gone after 1, and we did mine a second time as a precaution but this worked so well the first time! The only caution I would say is that it is super slippery. Put a towel underneath wherever it is that you apply it and stay put until the process is done so that your floors don't get dangerously slippery. Happy to say we were lice free within a week thanks to this product!

You should be aware that this is an oil, it makes combing out the hair much easier than anything else I have used because the product doesn't dry out whilst combing and is a one step treatment. However it is oily and that means shampoo rinse repeat after using the product or your child's hair will look greasy. Also if possible do the treatment outside because the oil does make smooth floors slippery...and it can leave oil spots on clothes so cover up. My daughters hair looks even prettier and healthier after we use this product. I kind of wish I could get someone to treat my hair this well (not that I have lice LOL) .The comb that comes with it is Ok but I am going to try another kind to see if it reduces the number of passes I do...my daughters hair is shoulder length and thick and I would spend easily 1 1/2 hours combing through it to be as sure as possible to remove all the eggs. It doesn't smell at all.

We had a run with lice that lasted for weeks on end. LiceMD, was easier than other products to use, we kept to the least toxiic products. With LiceMD, after 2 shampooes 1 week apart, we finally conquered and lice are now gone. Great product, with easy spreading application, It makes a huge difference.

I prefer this to many of the other lice products available. My child did not complain about the smell and there were no pesticides. The only thing I would caution, this is a very greasy like substance. I had to wash my child's hair 3 o4 4 times before I got it all out.
