My thermometer runs about a degree and a half off, so if you purchase it, and you notice it runs low on a healthy day and normal when you feel under the weather, chances are yours is off too. Add a degree at a minimum, like I said mine is a degree and a half off I confirmed this at my doctors office. Example, my doctors reading was 99.8 and my reading on my life source thermometer was 98.3. Not a big issue now that I know, but would not purchase it again.

Service and delivery comments:

prompt arrival, good condition upon arrival, never called customer service about it.

Not sure it reads accurately HOWEVER as long as you have a beginning mearurement of temp then can measure.
