I had never used Henna before and had been dying my hair copper red for about a year with chemical dyes, which was making it dry and weak. Henna is a time consuming process so I waited until my day off to use it. You have to soak the powder for an hour then apply it to all your hair like a mud mask. You can let it sit on your hair for as long as you like depending on your hair consistency and your desired color. I left mine on for an hour, but some people like to wrap their hair and leave it overnight.

My hair cameout so wonderful and I am so happy that I will never use chemical dye again. It is soft and really shiney. The Henna seems to have improved the texture greatly. Keep in mind that this will not lighten your hair, ut only add color to it. I used the shade Red and it came out a eautiful roght copper color on my medium strawerry blonde hair. I dyed my hair with this 2 weeks ago and it is still vibrant though it has faded a it. I wash it every other day. The color is lasting much longer than chemical dyes.
