It tastes and chews much better than the Flingstone vitamins. My kids love them. They want more than the 2 allowed per day. This is the only "candy" I give them.

Our pediatrician is having her patients taking vitamin D supplements since studies are showing that children aren't getting enough through diet and sun exposure. The only drawback with these is that they aren't very concentrated. In order to get the 1,000 daily units that the dr recommends a child would have to take 3 of these. And when added in to their normal vitamins it creates a lot of gummi bears to chew up. So we just have her take one in the morning and then a regular vit D capsule at night.

After hearing that kids don't get enough vitamin D, especially in northern climates where sunlight is a rare commodity in the winter, I purchased these to add to our regimen of supplements. My kids love them. Don't know yet if they're healthier as a result, but my kids are always excited to have their vitamins.
As a dietary supplement, parents may give each child up to two (2) gummy bears per day. Instruct child to chew each gummy bear carefully and thoroughly. This product may settle during shipping. Store at room temperature. Do not expose to excessive heat or moisture. Natural colors will darken over time. This does not alter the potency of the product.
