I'm sure the thickness is great for some couples, but for us it created a lot of friction. Comments about Liquid Silk Maximus Personal Lubricant, 250 ml: The best lubricant I've found and I've tried a lot of them. It stays wet and slippery, never gets sticky, and blends very well with my own natural lubricant. As I've gotten older, I have less of my own, so this has been an excellent solution to that problem. It is also a great lubricant to use with sex toys. It cleans up very easily and does not stain the sheets as I've noticed others do. It does occasionally have to be reapplied during marathon sessions, but this has never been a problem. My lover prefers it to all others, as well, and is really happy that it has a pump dispenser and he does not have to awkwardly fool around with trying to get a tube or bottle open right in the middle of a passionate moment. It was great for that...plus everything else! It is thick enough to stay put, but it is a better texture than jelly. Extremely long lasting; we never have to reapply, whatever body parts we use it on. Totally NOT sticky. (When it dries on your fingers, you can't tell it was there.) Water-based, so it's safe with latex and toys. On top of all that, the pump dispenser is awesome! Thinking of buying a second bottle so we have a pump on both nightstands for convenience. I wish there was a warming variety because I like warming lubes, but it's not worth switching! We don't bother using anything else, no matter what our pleasure. This stuff is TOPS! I would suggest just spending a few bucks more and getting the larger one with the pump. Less mess and much easier when needed. You don't need gobs of this stuff, a little goes a long way, so. don't worry about having to buy it so often. Hope this helps you decide.
