it still has a burn, but not as bad as the original (it has the same exact ingredients though) the light vanilla flavor does seem to help with that. i will continue using it and will buy again.

I can't handle the standard Listerine flavor. The taste is far too intense for my sensitive tongue and mouth. This one still gives that Listerine burn, without being over-the-top unbearable. Just like sweetening coffee, the vanilla in this mouthwash has the same effect.

This is the only flavor of Listerine that I can tolerate. I like the flavor very much. I use it every morning with my Waterpik, mixed with a little water.

I've been using the citrus flavor and STILL found it to burn too much. The vanilla mint flavor is the gentlest one yet. There is still a very slight burn, but I am able to rinse for the full 30 seconds now quite easily. The flavor is pleasant, and I know that I'm not sacrificing Listerine quality. As with all Listerine antiseptic products, I've found that everyday use decreases the incidence of colds and soothes mouth or throat pain whenever I do experience them.

I LOVE the Vanilla Mint! I am too much of a wimp for the regular Listerine flavors so I've gone away from the brand for a few years until now. Don't get me wrong, there is still a sting to the Vanilla Mint flavor - just not the "makes your eyes water sting" of the other Listerine flavors! I have no problem using this in the morning, afternoon, and at night. With the Vanilla Mint flavor, I actually look forward to it! My teeth feel so clean and slick even after meals - no plaque build up throughout the day, my breath is fresh, and I like how it turns the gum line a white color for a few minutes after use - you can see it has cleaned at the gum line. Super product - Awesome flavor!

Listerine is trying to get some of us that want an antiseptic, but want one that isn't that awful stuff Dad uses. The new flavors are nice and this one almost makes me want to use it everyday-almost. Still burns, although I suppose that is because it is working, but makes it harder to desire to use it. Not sure it has any whitening qualities, but seems effective otherwise.

I love that I get all the antiseptic benefits of Listerine, with a nice taste that isn't quite so eye-wateringly strong as the regular or mint I've tried before.
