I read the many reviews for this Listerine product before I ordered it. My biggest concern was the taste. Thus the headline; it really doesn't taste all that bad. I'm very sensitive to smells and tastes and I was prepared for the worst. I was pleasantly surprised; the taste is minty, nice, and I shoot for swishing the solution around in my mouth for 5 minutes. It foams alot, but that's OK. It means that it's doing it's job, killing bacteria and (hopefully) whitening my teeth.

I have only been using this product about 2 weeks, and as a coffee drinker my teeth tend to be yellowish. (Also I'm blonde) I will try to do another review after 6-8 weeks. I think that will be long enough to tell if it does make my teeth whiter.

I use it at least once a day, mainly for plaque removal - I'm a mouth breather, which causes it to be stickier and more prone to build-up, and this really loosens plaque and makes it easier to remove. My gums are a lot healthier since using it. My only slight con is the peroxide-y aftertaste, but it's really not too bad compared to earlier versions of the product. Any tooth whitening benfits are just a bonus. It is ridiculously hard to find in drugstores, etc., and even when you do, it's usually the small bottle.

This particular Listerine product is difficult to find in stores. It's the best mouthwash, and I hope they continue making it, and with wider distribution.

It a great product it doest contain alcohol so it may be a little strong. I do experience a slight burn from the alcohol but it's okay. I use this with othe teeth whiting products for faster results.

Since I have been using this product -- over two years now -- my mouth, teeth, and gums feel (and look) wonderful all of the time. I use it twice a day and so does my husband. We have also given to friends who visit -- they end up buying it, too. Wonderful Product! I've always been a fan of Listerine, but this is the greatest!!!

Of all the mouthwash products I tried this one has improved my dental care. I use this at least twice a day. Great rinse cleans, while it kills germs and freshen the mouth. It's worth the price.

This product's whitening ingredient is mainly Hydrogen Peroxide - the same this you use to clean your ears or to treat wounds - it's also a powerful bleaching agent. Now, obviously, this doesn't taste the best, but they added a lot of minty-ness to it to even it out. This ingredient being in the mouthwash also means it works as an antiseptic - a great thing to have to keep those nasty germs out of your mouth! This product has kept my teeth perfectly white ever since I bleached my teeth 6 months ago - I've even been drinking three cups of coffee every day since then, you can't even tell! Great for post-whitening upkeep. I doubt I will ever have to bleach again! :)

I was skeptical at first but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It does what it says. I am a soda drinker and my teeth had a yellowish tinge to them. I was embarassed when I saw my teeth in photos. This product visibly whitened my teeth. It does burn but not unbearably so. My gums used to bleed alot and I would get a raw feeling on the top of my mouth. This product has also taken care of those issues. I use it twice a day. Once in the morning and once at night. I am now a loyal user of this product and highly recommend it.

I've been using this product for several months now, twice a day. No, it doesn't taste quite as good as the original whitening Listerine, but it DOES keep your mouth feeling and smelling fresh for a longer period of time. And it whitens much better than the regular whitening Listerine!
