My wife got a bad reaction to this (black tongue). I use it twice a day, with no problem, good effects as mouthwash and probably is whitening (not saying it does not--just difficult to tell).

It worked slightly but it mesed up my enamel a bit and now i see they made one that restores enamel so i recommened that if your going to use a listerine whiteneing

I love this product. I will buy it again. I'm about half way through a bottle and I use it once or twice a day. I've already started to see it's effect. I like that it really gets in between the teeth and other areas that tend to stain. I love red wine and this has been my saving grace.

It gets foamy, but seems to whiten teeth. Rinsing with it for a minute is a challenge.

This stuff is AWESOME! I used to just use whitening strips about twice a year and now, I'm using this everyday, and it keeps my teeth extremely white.

However, my teenager used this for a couple months and while it whitened most of her teeth, there was a darkened spot on one of her front teeth that wouldn't whiten, so she stopped using it.

I will definitely keep using it. It doesn't sting your tongue if you keep swishing it around in your mouth, and it definitely doesn't burn like regular Listerine.

I get compliments on how white my teeth are all the time, and it has a lot to do with using Listerine Whitening Pre-Rinse. LOVE IT!!

Unlike regular Listerine, I had no trouble swishing with this for the recommended period of time, 60 seconds. It didn't burn my mouth at all or have the taste of peroxide. The foaming is a strange sensation to have in your mouth but it does a great job of killing bad breath. I so far haven't noticed any of the peeling or brown/black tongue like other reviewers although my lips are a bit dry (I just apply Burt's Bees Lip Balm afterwards anyway). Over all, this is a really great product and I would recommend it!

I noticed a little blistering in my mouth at first but that finally went away and I'm pretty happy with this as far as whitening. i would say at least one shade so far.

This is the only whitening product my dentist allows me to use because I have soft enamel. With being a coffee and tea drinker I need something so this product works good with my condition. Not as well as stronger whitening products, but it works pretty good.
