Works great for whitening over a long period of time. Compared to strips, trays, and the Dentist this is super s-l-o-w...perfect for me! I hate the strips, trays, and especially Dentist so I could not be happier. I too have the problem with a slight skin reaction, no pain just loose skin. As far as the foaming? What a laugh I had trying to use it like mouth wash. A HUGE mouthful of foam apeared after about the third swish! Use a little your first time and adjust from there.

Excellent product. I will admit, the foam part does feel a little weird at first if you have never used a whitening mouth wash before- it's the reaction of hydrogen peroxide and oxygen. It has a pleasant mint taste, and seems to work just as good as regular Listerine. I highly recommend this product.

Great product! The film others have mentioned appears to be dead cells being removed from the mucous membranes in the mouth, it nearly disappears with regular use. Makes you wonder what this was contributing to bad breath. Have used this for a year and my teeth are white, white, white and my dentist says to keep it up!

Never discontinue this product, period! This is one of the best and easiest ways of whitening your teeth. A lot of the reviewers here sound pretty new to whitening their teeth or are used to only using expensive strips. Welcome to the world of whitening.

I had a weird film in my mouth too, but I did not immediately recognize the cause until I read the other reviews. I think the rinse looks disgusting, it's a little too "foamy" for me, and it stings my mouth. I don't know what I was thinking when I bought it.

I noticed a difference the first time I tried the product. It is so easy to use. Easier than strips, etc. My only complaint is it makes the lining of my mouth sluff off if I use it for more than the 60 seconds the label suggests.

A disgusting side effect of the Listerine Whitening Pre-Brush Rinse is a black/brown furry tongue. While this condition is benign, it is totally nasty!

I smoke everyday, I drink coffee everyday, and I get compliments just about everday on how white my teeth are. Fabulous product. It does create a film in my mouth that I have to get out with my fingers that's kind of gross, but the product is worth it. You will see a difference.
