The first time I wasn't sure if my sore throat was a result of the whitening strips or not, but now that I've used the pen and the same thing happened with a sore throat coming on within 6 hours after using the product, I know it's the whitening products causing the problem. I guess I'm going to have to resort to spending hundreds of dollars to have my teeth whitened at a dentist where they put a dental dam in to protect my throat from the solution. The sore throat I get from these products last 4-5 days. My throat is actually burned by the product. I think there should be a warning on the box. Pros

Comments about LISTERINE Whitening Pen, .07 oz: I think this product is great to maintain whitened teeth between using more expensive, harsher treatments. It didn't hurt my gums or make my teeth more sensitive. I just wish it contained more gel per container. Pros
