I purchased this product because my kids love to 'help' me cook and do things in the kitchen but the chair and step stool we used were so unsteady and they each have fallen off at one time. This product is exactly what we needed. Both my 2 & 5y/o can be in it at the same time. I thought maybe a little more width would be more comfortable but they seem fine standing in it together and it fits nicely in my kitchen. I assembled it in about 30 minutes with both my kids "helping" me.
It says that adult supervision is required but, honestly, I have actually found my kids in it 'ready' to cook at times and my older child using it to pour juice at the counter. It is very easy for them to get in and out of. Very sturdy/well designed and the 500 lb weight limit is probably true because I stood in it with both of them (we all total about 220 pounds) just to see if it would be sturdy enough and the base did not budge and the unit did not wiggle when I tried to shake it. My older child climbed in it from the back (over the top of the back!) - I knew this would happen because it must look like playground equipment in my kitchen but the unit did not tip. Again, very smart design.
I don't fear opening the stove as much when they are in the tower.
The four adjustable heights are very useful and the platform is easy to change. They raise the kids from about 11inches up to about 19in from the floor. My kids can not change the heights because their arms are not long enough/strong enough to do this (has to be lifted and then placed at the next level - takes a larger person to do this due to the design).
I like that the whole thing is wood. It sits flush against our counters. We have knobs on our lower cabinets/drawers that stick out but the tower fits around them.
It measures about 19 (l) x 19.5 (w) x 38 (h) And the base supports make it about 23 x 32.5 x 38.
The unit is heavy and my 2y/o can not maneuver it around the kitchen. I liked this because the chair we used was easily moved in front of the stove. My 5y/o can move it and uses it at the sink to get water/'wash' dishes. We have not used it as a puppet theater yet.
I recently bought the magnetic chalk board/dry erase board that attaches onto to the unit. My younger one likes to sit in the unit and write on it since he can access the board from either side. This board turns around easily on the unit.
I spent more than what I planned but the functionality, safety, multi-uses, and what may be a long period of use of this product were a fair trade-off.
I am very pleased with my purchase so far and have not found anything negative about this product other than the price.

We are using the tower in the kitchen, as my 2-year-old loves to "help" cook. He helped (really helped, I mean!) put the tower together and immediately figured out how to climb in and out of it. Heavy and sturdy as it is, he can move it around the kitchen himself. I have noticed other people's comments about stubbing toes on the "feet" that stick out. Here's the solution I've found: use foam pipe insulation to cover them. The insulation is inexpensive, flexible, comes in a 6' tube that is easy to cut, and has built-in adhesive strips that will attach it to the feet. Between the color (black) catching my eye and the softness of the foam, my toes have no complaints so far.

This has been a great addition to our family! My daughter is always wanting to help out in the kitchen and she has been using either a step stool or chair. Neither was safe but better than sitting on the counter.
This has made me feel alot better about having her help me and I am ok to turn around and get something out of the fridge. She is now at the right height to work a the counter and it comes close enough to the counter that I don't worry she will pull the bowl off the counter if she is stirring something.
Learning Tower is definately heavy, but not heavy enough that my 2 year old can't push it across the kitchen. We thought for sure she won't be able to do it... but she does. That is the only thing we need to watch out for now.

This product is a must for all toddlers. I no longer have to sit my son on the counter sink in the bathroom to comb his hair or have him brush his teeth. Now, when I tell him it's time to brush his teeth, he climbs right up and is excited to brush his teeth. You will be so glad that you purchased this item.

Kids often want to be held because they live in a "land of giants". They can't see what's going on, can't participate in what's happening around them. This lets them see what's happening around the kitchen when we're preparing meals, "help", interact with parents while they've got their hands full. The Learning Tower lets kids be part of the family during meal prep time, without being in your arms. Our twins often "help" cook. next to the sink, it lets them wash hands by themselves. Its somewhat big and bulky; that also makes it sturdy and safe.

Solid construction. Really a piece of furniture and somewhat heavy. My One-year old loves it and I feel comfortable that he is safe with him standing in the Tower while I cook in the kitchen. Most important of all he loves it.

I had seen the learning tower at a friends house and loved the idea of it. My 2 1/2 y.o. daughter loves to be in the kitchen with me and was consistently slipping of our other stool. I should of investigated the dimensions of this product prior to buying it. I have a nice size kitchen, but this thing is heavy and large. I have stubbed my toe numerous time on it. My daughter loves being counter height and I love that it is sturdy and stable.

Purchased this when my daughter was 15 months old and a she needed supervision on this then, but 6 months have gone by, it still looks like new, she still uses it every day whenever we are preparing meals. Both she and two friends can stand in it with no worries about strength and sturdiness. Its pricey but worth every cent. Oh, and she draws on it regularly with pencils and crayons and the finish wipes clean with a damp sponge: nice!

My 18 month old loves to see what is happening on the kitchen counters when we are preparing food. I am constantly bombarded with "up!" while I am trying to cook dinner. And of course, I can't cut food or stand too close to the stove when she is in my arms. This allows us to set her up near where the action is, so she is out of the way of danger but can see what's going on. She also loves to climb/crawl in and out of the different openings and play "peek-a-boo" with us. The only problem I have had with the Leanring Tower is that, in order to make it more stable, the "feet" stick out quite a bit, and (in a small kitchen)we have all tripped over the supports as we try to squeeze around the structure.

My seventeen-month-old is able to easily get in and out of the Learning Tower without assistance. We use it to play with toys, food, water, art supplies, etc. at the kitchen counter. It is sturdy and stable, even when my two large dogs jostle it. It was a lot to spend on a product of its sort, but I'm pretty sure it is going to be worth it.
