No one can anticipate when an emergency will occur, which is why this is so important as a first line of prevention. This product contains High Surface Area (HSA) Activated Charcoal.
Activated Charcoal is recommended by Poison Control Centers for emergency home treatment of many accidental poisonings.
In the event of certain accidental poisonings, the administration of activated charcoal can help significantly reduce the time of toxin ingestion.
However all experts agree that in the event of an accidental poisoning and before administering any remedy, you should first contact a Poison Control Center or hospital emergency personnel to obtain the recommend course of treatment. As an added precaution, we urge all parents to fill in the emergency phone numbers on this package, and to read and familiarize themselves with all pertinent information about poison prevention.

Warnings
Do not give activated charcoal until after the patient has vomited, unless directed by a health professional
Do not use if person is not fully conscious.
Do not use unless directed by a health professional if, turpentine, corrosives such as alkalies (lye) and strong acids, or petroleum distillates such as kerosene, gasoline, paint thinner, cleaning fluids or furniture polish have been ingested.
Keep out of reach of children.
Read the warnings and directions as soon as you buy this product. If possible call a Poison Control Center, emergency medical facility or health professional before using this product. If help cannot be reached quickly, follow the directions on the right side of the bottle.
Call a Poison Control Center or hospital emergency center immediately before administering this product.
Fill bottle with water or soda pop to fill line on label.
Shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds.
Drink entire contents as quickly as possible or as directed by a health professional.
If previous attempts to contact a Poison Control Center, Emergency Medical Facility, or Health Professional are unsuccessful, continue trying. Save container of poison. Keep patient active and moving.
Do not use if imprinted plastic neck band on bottle is broken or missing. Store at controlled room temperature. Do not freeze. See bottle or packaging for lot number and expiration date.
