Works great for children's shots. Makes the shot MUCH less painful! Squirt out some on the skin in a good size area and cover it with plastic wrap 30 min before the appointment. I just use first aid tape or band aids to tape the plastic wrap on.

I use this every time I get a Bikini Wax and I put it on about an hour before and take 2 advil and its soooo much LESS painful....

I use this to donate blood and it works great. I feel little more than pressure when they are poking me with the big needle and it lasts for the entire donation which usually takes me 30 minutes. The key is to apply it correctly. Take a small amount and rub it in at the site then apply a the prescribed amount and cover with the occlusive dressing. Don't flatten it out. Wait at least 30 minutes for it to work, I usually put it on an hour before I donate.

I used this when getting my first tattoo (one large one on my lower back and two on each sid of my lower waistline). Let me tell you I am a punk when it comes to tattoos. This worked so well,I actually fell asleep while the guy was working on me. It hurt more when he was wiping me clean than it did when he was actually tattooing me. The only thing is it does wear off kinda quickly so fortunate for me, this guy was quick. I bought 2 tubes and still have one left and will use it when I get the one on my back covered/redone.

I've had laser hair removal on just about every inch of my body, and I've lost count of how many tubes of LMX I have gone through. It works really well, even for someone like me that has an extremely low pain threshold. For the incredibly sensitive areas, I use this topical cream along with a pain pill (Tylenol-3 works best for me). Be sure to apply a full hour before the start of your session for best results. Even though it is not necessary to cover with plastic wrap like some other products to get the same effective numbing, it tends to work even better if you do use plastic wrap over the treated area, and only remove the plastic just before treatment on any particular area.

I bought this because it was recommended to put on before bikini waxing. It did not even take the edge off the pain! Outrageous price for such a tiny tube -- I wish I could send it back.
