I have been a faithful fan of L'Oreal products for most of my adult life, and I am just short of 60 now. I do have some fine lines on my forehead and around my mouth. I have used eye cream and worn sunglasses faithfully since forever, so I don't have many lines around my eyes, and no crows feet. I wanted to try this Golden Balm since the first time I saw Diane Keaton advertising it, but when I bought it and started using it, I must say it was very disappointing. It does not "melt into your skin" and it is not nearly as creamy as it looks in the commercials. It has a medicinal scent that definitely turns me off, but I could deal with the scent if the product was at all as it is advertised. Instead, the product feels like paste, not cream. I tried dotting it on my face and letting it set for a few seconds before trying to spread it around, and it still doesn't feel creamy. I have to pull on my facial skin to spread it around and it feels like paste on my skin. I bought the Golden Balm eye cream also, and am just as disappointed in it. I will not buy this product again, and I would not recommend it to a friend. In fact I would warn my friend that rubbing it into your face is like applying paste.

I have not used Loreal face balm before. I was a little hesitant because I have very sensitive skin and I Have to be very careful or the cremes will burn. This did not, it is great. I use it every day and will buy again.

I found this on sale at a local grocery store; I normally would try for a less expensive brand. This product is actually very reasonably priced and it works as advertised. I am 43, with normal skin for my age. As soon as I applied this product my winter skin felt wonderful. I was shocked at how many fine lines the extra moisture smoothed away. After I apply it, the little crow's feet when I smile just aren't there anymore. And I know we've all heard this a thousand times on commercials, but my skin, after a month or so of regular use, is actually glowing. I also use the serum from this line of products, and I don't think my skin has looked or felt this wonderful in ten years. These products are not expensive at all, and actually do what they say they will. I am extremely happy with the results.

I put it on twice a day. In the morning at night after cleansing my face. This product makes your skin look glowing. The smell is strange but I have gotten used to it.
