I do have some fine lines on my forehead and around my mouth. I have used eye cream and worn sunglasses faithfully since forever, so I don't have many lines around my eyes, and no crows feet. I wanted to try this Golden Balm since the first time I saw Diane Keaton advertising it, but when I bought it and started using it, I must say it was very disappointing. It does not "melt into your skin" and it is not nearly as creamy as it looks in the commercials. It has a medicinal scent that definitely turns me off, but I could deal with the scent if the product was at all as it is advertised. Instead, the product feels like paste, not cream. I tried dotting it on my face and letting it set for a few seconds before trying to spread it around, and it still doesn't feel creamy. I have to pull on my facial skin to spread it around and it feels like paste on my skin. I bought the Golden Balm eye cream also, and am just as disappointed in it. I will not buy this product again, and I would not recommend it to a friend. In fact I would warn my friend that rubbing it into your face is like applying paste. I thought it would be much lighter and easier to apply, like the other l'oreal products I have used in the past, but it was super thick, bordering on greasy. I was searching for something to soothe my winter dry skin, and this product was great for that, but I found it to be almost too heavy. The scent was really heavy too; while I am not a not a person who looks for a scent free product, I would have appreciated something with a lighter scent that disappears after I applied it. Bottom line: best as a night cream.  Pros

It is great for battling the winter elements. Goes on easy and feels great. I use this under my makeup and at night as a night cream. I can't say enough good things! The cream even helped with the fine lines around my eyes. I had the "checkerboard" wrinkles under my eyes. Gone! Pros

Not sure if it blends well with my other products or it is doing this on its own but I am very pleased with the results. This is a balm, not a cream so don't be surprised but I have sensitive skin and I have had no problems at all with reaction other than results. The smell is lovely and calming. It caused a slight itch on my neck(I am not normally sensitive to products) and it came off on my clothes (even giving plenty of time for the product to dry before dressing). Pros Cons
