This does nothing but add color to lashes. I think the other reviewers were reviewing a different product. Absolutely NO lengthening, no fibers, nothing but thin color.

They don't come any worse than this stuff. Yes it gives length, but be ready with a little spooley brush to seperate your lashes after you clump this on because it will give you major spider lashes...and if you don't have much lashes to begin with, this will make them seem even less..but with length. I try to save money by not buying my dept. store mascara..but I can see now that that will never happen. Cheap mascara's are junk.

This mascara is fantastic; people constantly compliment my eyes. I've had people ask if they wore false lashes, or if I spent a lot of time curling them. I use the black-brown for a more casual look, but the carbon black for super sexy come-hither eyes.
Let me warn you, the brush is a little unusual. It has spikey hard plastic spokes, and very few of them, unlike other brushes that are more full and bristle like. The secret is to line the brush up to the base of your lashes properly and then wiggle and pull up gently. You only need to do this once or twice because the coverage is excellent. If you try to apply this willy-nilly and your lashes fall between the spokes, then you will get BAD clumps. I don't put any on my bottom lashes, this stuff takes a little bit longer to dry. If I just blink my eyes a couple of times enough mascara transfers to my bottom lashes to make them visible.
The drying time is totally worth the wait…. Once this stuff sets, you are golden. I have not found any product (except waterproof of course) that resists smudging like this does. I'm a horrible face toucher, maybe I have a nervous disorder, and I have very pale skin. If this stuff were to smudge or rub, EVERYONE would see it. My only concern is that because it stays on so well, regular soap doesn't get it off too easily, you may need eye makeup remover.

Having injured the corneas of both eyes at some time, i am fearful of mascaras. I have long blonde lashes and now apply the mascara with my eye closed. this brush / comb applies the right amount, and then combs the mascara to the very tip of the lashes.I can see exactly where the brush is on my lashes. both upper and bottom lashes are defined, separated and while it may take a moment longer to dry, give yourself a few extra minutes because it is soo worth the effort. lasts all day and night. have been using this product for years and years.

I have tried hundreds of mascaras as I have short fine eyelashes. I have spent from $6.00 to $35.00 for the mascaras and I keep coming back to this one. It is the best one I have every tried. I love it.

The first time I used this mascara, I was hooked. The brush looks almost like a cube with spikes on the corners, making a total of 4 rows of tiny stationary bristles. Sometimes, I have to rotate the brush to get the best coverage and to reach my tiniest lashes at the base. This mascara offers BY FAR the best coverage, longest lasting, never flaking, darkest pigment I have found. It is fast because it only takes one coat. My lashes are naturally short and sparse. This makes them look almost like I have false lashes on. This is above and beyond any other product I've ever tried.

The only cons I can think of are possible clumping if you get over zealous with it. It truly only takes one coat. Also, I would say it's half way between regular and waterproof mascara. You can splash your face with water and it doesn't budge. Sometimes even after my facewash, I still have to use eye makeup remover to get it all off. That really could be moved over to the "pros" side, though. I'd rather it stay on than flake off after lunch.

This product is absolutely worth the price.

I love this mascara but when first applied, it takes time to dry which results sometimes is smearing and additional applications... but once dry, it stays on all day... separates, lengthens and makes my lashes look full... great brush... works much better for me then regular mascara brushes...

This is a very deep black shade that will enhance any eye color. It lengthens the lashes and does not weigh them down so if you curl them before application they will stay curled. What I do not like is the brush. It is a skinny plastic design and holds too much product, therefore, it goes on too wet and the lashes stick together making them look like "less" lashes. I have dealt with this by wiping the brush with tissue before applying but, I still had to use a lash comb to separate them. So if you want really deep black long lashes and you don't mind the extra step you will like this mascara.

I Love this mascara! It definitely is not for a "natural" look, but if you want dramatic, long, sexy lashes without all the clumping that comes with other brands try this! I've been using this product for over a year. I've tried so many others (both before and after using this mascara) and I haven't found anything that compares. This will give you beautiful, definined lashes. It does not run under your eyes or flake off (like many of the others do). I have never found any other mascara that gives me the length that this does, and I have tried so many, many mascaras. Also, I don't have any difficulty removing it when I wash my face.
