This product contains NO drying detergents or heavy silcones...great for all people with "textured" hair or anyone concerned with preserving your precious color or highlights that we Beauty Gals spend so much money on....The idea is that No SLS (harsh detergents) won't strip your hair and rough up your cuticle and strip your color. Basically, if you are a girl like me with longer hair that is thick and you color it...it is a God Send that will literally change your life. I have been using these types of products to wash my hair for almost two years now, (My sister in law is a hairdresser in GA and swears by them) and I will NEVER go back to regular shampoo. The exception is every month or so I use a clarifying shampoo to help remove styling gunk, etc, but a diligent hair person like me would do that anyway. This product is sooooo much cheaper than Wen or Deva Care.....with quality ingredients all from a DRUGSTORE! ( I am DEF a hair product SNOB and laugh at people that bought drugstore shampoos...but hey, for this ONE product, I wlll make an exception!) It smells yummy.. to me anyway..I have read mixed reviews on the smell from lots of reviews...it is kinda like a vanilla/Caramel/Brown sugar smell. A bit more perfumey than I am used to, but it still smells nice. My hubby commented that it smelled yummy, and he is picky on smells. OK so enough rambling.......here's how to use it VS Most Liked Negative Review Can't stand it. I have very course/thick wavy red hair. Irish/Italian. It's very dry, but takes to heat styling very well. In general, I wash my hair 2-3 times per week, except in the summer. This product DID make my hair much softer, but within 12 hours my hair felt waxy/greasy and smelled dirty. Smell of product does not wane, and is very strong. It felt like I'd had a keratin treatment on my hair. Waxy and gross, where you can't wait to wash it, but make yourself wait so that the keratin will work. HOWEVER, this is just a cleanser! I can't imagine a person with "normal" hair liking this. If it made my hair greasy and flat, I can't imagine what it would do to thinner hair. I threw away the bottle after 5 uses. Bottom line, it made my hair softer but quickly waxy/greasy and smelled very strong. Overpowering. Would have to wash my hair daily with this, which is not healthy for my dry/course hair. Cons Best Uses Comments about L'Oreal Evercreme Conditioning Cleanser, 8.5 oz: I really wanted to like this product because it was carried at my local drugstore and was much less expensive than WEN. I've used WEN for about 7 years but it is getting more and more expensive so I'm on the hunt for a more economical alternative. I have shorter, fine, brunette hair that I've never colored so it has a tendency to go flat if over conditioned. The right product gives my hair bounce and body, which is why I've loved WEN for so long.

Cons Best Uses Comments about L'Oreal Evercreme Conditioning Cleanser, 8.5 oz: This is the best shampoo for my hair. I love it - no sulphates, no silicones. My hair is in much better condition since using this. It cleans well and doesn't strip my color. It doesn't lather like other shampoos with SLS, but it lathers as long as your hair is really wet. I shampoo it in and leave it on for 2 minutes, then rinse off. After I color my hair and use this shampoo, it feels like silk, whereas it used to feel like straw with other shampoos. I've totally given up all hair products with silicone, and my hair looks better than ever.

Comments about L'Oreal Evercreme Conditioning Cleanser, 8.5 oz: This shampooing conditioner is so rich and creamy. And leaves my fine straight hair with more body then I've ever had. I love the smell. I've been using the WEN products for years. I truly like this better. And the price is amazing!!

Comments about L'Oreal Evercreme Conditioning Cleanser, 8.5 oz: I intended to use this myself, I have color treated fine/thick hair. Used it a couple of times, but my hair was quite greasy by the end of the day, so started using it on my 1 yr old since its sulfate free. It does lather a little on her hair when you pump it in your hand, then rub your hands together and apply the low sudsing foam to the hair. Leave it on her about 2 minutes, and rinse with a washcloth. It doesnt burn her eyes, and she has very fine hair, and the tangles are minimal now compared to the other "baby shampoos". Love it and the rest of the Sulphate Free line! So, bottome line: Great for babies! Gentle shampoo!

Comments about L'Oreal Evercreme Conditioning Cleanser, 8.5 oz: I've been using this product for about eight months. I wash my hair only 2-3 times a week because I'm concerned about thinning and frizz. I did not want to give up entirely on shampoo because my scalp does get greasy at the roots.

Comments about L'Oreal Evercreme Conditioning Cleanser, 8.5 oz: I really wanted to like this, as I've been wanting to try the really expensive one and was so happy to see an affordable alternative! However, my hair smelled so much like perfume after I almost got a headache, and even my husband commented on "what's that smell?". If you like perfume, I suppose you might like it; or it might clash with what you use. I am not a perfume fan so I don't like it at all, so even though I felt it worked pretty good I won't use it again.

Cons Best Uses Comments about L'Oreal Evercreme Conditioning Cleanser, 8.5 oz: i have tried several cleansing conditioners including the expensive one and this works the best on my fine hair. I wish Loreal would come out with a fine hair specific cleansing cond. so I could switch off every few days. I also love the scent. ![]() |
