I was always discouraged by the fading I would get. I blamed the hair dye and tried different brands. Then I tried this shampoo, and my fading days are behind me. I didn't expect any or much lather, since it is sulfate free. It lathers wonderfully, the lather feels indulgent and luxurious. It smells great, too. It cleans well, rinses easily, and leaves my hair very soft and manageable. It doesn't weigh it down. I have a very oily scalp, and it leaves it feeling very clean. For me, this product is a winner! VS Most Liked Negative Review Still undecided! I love how my hair feels right after using the shampoo and conditioner. However, I tend to agree that hair dries out a day or two after use.I still think I need time to evaluate which is weird..I've never done this before with a shampoo and conditioner. Since I either love or hate. I have now been using this shampoo and conditoner for a few weeks. My sisters swear by it. However, the leave in conditioner is awful and makes your hair look and feel oily...so don't use. The shampoo lathers well and both shampoo and conditoner smell wonderful. What I do not like though is the dishonesty about Drugstore.com. They advertise BOGO for both shampoo and conditoner but you do not get a free product with purchase. BOGO means buy one get one.I called and they apologized for the error on the website but its still there today. So it is false advertising. So not good!!So I would never purchase from them again.[...] REVIEWS Reviewed by 39 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » 5/29/2013 Great Lather & Smell - Best Sulfate Free Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about L'Oreal EverPure Moisture Shampoo, Rosemary Juniper, 8.5 fl oz: L'Oreal does it again. Trust them - they know how to make a great product. Great Lather - don't have to use much of product. I used another brand - (Age Beautiful) and no lather at all. So I do have something to compare. I love the smell - I bought Rosemary Mint - Color Care.

Cons Best Uses Comments about L'Oreal EverPure Moisture Shampoo, Rosemary Juniper, 8.5 fl oz: Being a scientist, I did my research to see what the Sulfate thing was all about. I have learned that Sulfates increase the efficiency of shampoos because they encourage the "stripping" of the oils from the shaft. Well. If you have thin strands, like I do...each hair is exceptionally thin in diameter.... we do NOT NEED our hair stripped, of anything! Even microscopic loss of the outer coat of the hair shaft leads to reduced diameter over time. So, I started using the L'Oreal Sulfate Free line, and there is actually a visible difference in the thickness of the new hair growth. I was dumbfounded to find a product that actually helps my super fine hair. And, nothing at all is sacrificed in the cleanliness of my hair. A wash lasts as long as it ever did with the other shampoos. I encourage anyone with fine hair to start using a Sulfate Free shampoo and conitioner, and stick with it! It takes time for the new hair to grow out, and remember, it can do nothing for the strands you have already stripped. I have searched the shelves high and low for other Sulfate Free brands, and L'Oreal is the only one I can find in the drug stores. The price is negligable for something that actually works. I'm committed to this shampoo and conditioner for life!

Best Uses Comments about L'Oreal EverPure Moisture Shampoo, Rosemary Juniper, 8.5 fl oz: After coloring my hair I wanted a shampoo to help keep away fading. I had saw commercials for this line so I thought I'd give it a try even though it was much pricier than I'd liked to have spent. It lathers nicely, smells great and left hair feeling soft.

Comments about L'Oreal EverPure Moisture Shampoo, Rosemary Juniper, 8.5 fl oz: This shampoo deffinitely strips any gunk/oil out of my hair. After looking at the ingredients the 3rd one listed is Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate - not a sulfate per say; however it does have somewhat of a harsh chemical like feel to it. I think this is why my hair feels so stripped afterwards. Deffinitely don't use this every day (unless you work a dirty job everyday). I prefer a gentler daily shampoo.

Comments about L'Oreal EverPure Moisture Shampoo, Rosemary Juniper, 8.5 fl oz: I am 48 years old, have LOTS of hair that is thick, dry, and coarse, and is highlighted. As I've gotten older my hair has gotten drier and frizzes pretty easily. Gel doesn't work for me anymore, so I have tried everything else from spray on gel, gum paste, pomeade, you name it, but I continually had hair issues. I bought some Hair One, after seeing an infomercial on Wen, and comparing the product ingredients. Hair One didn't lather at all (no sulfates..which was expected), but my hair was kind of weighed down and it was a little expensive for me. I found the Loreal Sulfate Free while shopping at the big W. I have been using it for months now, along with the conditioner. I don't use any other hair products. Is my hair as soft and silky as it was when I was a teenager? No, but it's in pretty good shape. I don't blow-dry my hair, but do hot-curl it when weather permits. My bangs don't frizz, or curl up, like they were (sans major humidity). The shampoo smells minty and I think it's a calming fragrance. Nothing works for every one, but this works for me after spending money on LOTS of different products!

Comments about L'Oreal EverPure Moisture Shampoo, Rosemary Juniper, 8.5 fl oz: I wash and condition my hair twice a week. I use the L'Oreal once a week and the Paul Mitchell the second time. They both keep my colored red hair from fading, but the Paul Mitchell smells better.
