You can feel your hair getting stronger after and during the use of this product. I also love the smell! It have a peppermint smell to it which wakes me up in the morning.

While it did make my hair soft and less frizzy, this conditioner leaves a residue on my scalp. If I scratch my head, even at the scalp line, I have flakes. I'm also trying to figure out why it has chlorhexidine in it. This particular chemical is a gentle cleanser used in surgical scrubs that was said to cause brain damage when used chronically on babies with cradle cap. It's also used in mouthwashes and wound cleaners, why on earth would they put this in a conditioner?

I love this product. I'm out in the elements all day (I teach gardening), and I've never found a product that repairs and tames my thick wavy hair. Plus I like the fact that it doesn't contain sulphates.

Don't let the price scare you, you used less than other products so it really is cost-effective.

Not only WOULD I recommend this product, I already HAVE.

My hair type: thick, full, naturally straight, recently cut short (started using this product with long hair, though)

Use: Every other day, plus blow dry, no other styling products

I was surprised how much I like this product, as it seemed so heavily marketed as both natural and scientifically advanced, which seemed at odds. This conditioner makes my full thick hair smooth and soft and keeps it that way for 2 days without getting oily. In the winter, I still had issues with static, but seeing as this is just a regular conditioner and not a deep conditioner, I am fine with that. The smell is as advertised: minty/herbal, but is only really noticeable while you're in the shower...your dry hair won't smell minty/herbal, just clean.

Note that if you are looking for a 100% natural product, this conditioned contains methylparaben.

When I was living in Alaska, I will be halfway through a bottle and my scalp would get a really bad reaction. Flakes or bumps even, Coz it's so dry up there. Plus my hair would always be really greasy the day after. After seeing this at the supermarket, I tried it out. I totally love it! I've used a different one since I moved, but I'm going back to this one. This is definitely work every penny spent. The opening of the bottle is really small, so it helps a lot that you really only need a little bit anyways. It is also sulfate free, so it's great for your hair.
