Important: Haircolor can cause an allergic reaction which, in certain rare cases, can be serious. Therefore, you must follow these precautions.
Do not use if:
You have already had a reaction to a haircolor product.
You have a sensitive, itchy or damaged scalp.
If you have a tattoo, the risks of allergic reaction may be increased.
Perform a skin allergy test 48 hours before each use of this product (see insert). Remember to buy your product 2 days ahead of time.
Avoid contact of this product with eyes and skin.
If product gets into eyes, rinse immediately.
Wear gloves provided in kit.
Thoroughly rinse hair after application.
Do not use over compound henna or progressive color.
Do not use on relaxed hair.
Wait at least 14 days after bleaching or perming before coloring.
Keep product out of the reach of children. Do not apply on children.

This is now my favorite hair color. I have dishwater blonde hair. I have very little gray. This is fast, which I like, but my favorite thing is that it looks perfectly natural. Most hair color looks intense and artificial for at least a week, but I can use this and have natural-looking, beautiful, brightened, shiny hair immediately. Being semi-permanent, it doesn't leave an obvious root line. I also have long hair and don't want to damage it with permanent color, so this product is excellent for that as well.
Most importantly, from the first time I used it, I got multiple compliments on my hair. Even the guy that cuts my hair thinks I'm incredibly lucky that my natural hair color is this beautiful golden blonde (no, I didn't tell him), so that makes this my perfect choice.
I agree that after using this product my hair is closer to a medium blonde than light blonde, but don't consider this a problem.
Tirede of that cheap BLONDE BLONDE BLAAAHND look ?? You know..obviously colored hair ..TOO BLONDE. What am I..HULK HOGAN or some other wrestlemania blonde ?? NO- I'm a natural blonde wanting NO ugly [gulp] BROWNISH hair on my primarily blonde head. I used the 9,s and 10,s of Loreal with only whispersoft coming close to my wants. NOW-FINALLY!!! this color 9 natural blonde in the 10 min. offering..is PERFECT!! NOT TOO blonde, and not too warm. Initially, after applying the first few days, may to SOME, appear a bit too warm..but after a few more days..the color fades to PERFECT-subtle blonde!!! Hooray ! RESULT-NATURAL LOOKING BLONDE HAIR !! Re-do in 2 weeks for constant/maintaining desired color.
This shade is hard to find in stores, so I was glad to find it here. It works well to brighten my 25% (?) gray/light brown hair- not gold, which I can't stand. It is nice because it doesn't take long (I leave it on the max time, 20 minutes), but it does wash off the gray before roots start to show, about 3-4 weeks for me.
I read reviews that said that this "light blonde" comes out darker than represnted on the box, which is actually why I chose it. I wanted a more natural looking blonde, not platinum. (Face it ladies -- if any of us were born with "natural" platinum hair, we wouldn't need haircolor, would we?) I was very happy with the final shade, a warmer medium/light blonde, and have had more compliments on the color than any other I've used. If you want eighties blonde, Kelly Bundy hair, this is not the color for you. Check the dollar store.
This color is totally misrepresented. May work well for brunettes, but if you want blonde hair, you will be disappointed. Color comes out very much darker than the box and darker than any other "9" or "8" shade of Preference or Excellence. The "foamy" colorant makes it difficult to apply as well, and it doesn't cover as much hair -much harder to apply than the liquid colorant of regular Preference/Excellence. I tried this twice, first color "8" which gave me a light brown, then with the lightest blond shade "9" which made absolutely no difference. I wasted my money on this and will be requesting a refund from the company.
I thought this worked fine. It did move my roots and greys just a slight shade darker, but I had had highlights and lowlights that had grown out, so it looked fine. It even made some of the highlights pop again. I was skeptical of the short time and thought it might not cover the grey, but it seemed to work just as well as the longer versions. I am happy enough to purchase it again. The time savings does mean that in a crunch I can touch up even as I am getting ready for work. That is really nice.
Product is very easy to use. The color is a shade darker than represented on the box. However I got so many compliments on the darker blonde color that I'm sticking with it. If you want more of a platinum blonde then this will not work for you. But if you want a pretty warm blonde color this is perfect.
This hair color was awful. I'm experienced at dying my own hair and have NEVER had such major problems before. First of all, the color came out completely different from what was shown on the box. Instead of a very light blonde, my hair is a DARK blonde. The roots to the middle of my hair (I have just past shoulder length) are a different color from the ends (there is a distinct line). There are also huge spots that did not get colored, because I don't think there was enough dye in the kit (versus the amount in others). Overall I'm horribly disappointed... I would not recommend this product to anyone. Go with the other 10-minute color (Perfect 10) and you will have MUCH better results.
