It's not perfect, but it's close. It goes on easily and smoothly, stays on well and looks beautfiul even in the hot Las Vegas climate where I live. It is a very deep black, soft pencil and it is as close to the BEST pencil out there (which, in my opinion, is Estee Lauder's new Double Wear in Onyx 01). Double Wear is 3X the price of this, though. The difference is seriously minimal during normal wear. For serious waterproof, this one falls just a wee bit short of EL, but hey, for a lot less dinero, it's easy enough to re-apply it on the go, so this is the one I am going to re-buy. It will smudge a bit depending on the humidity and my activity level, but I have found it to be much better than other eyeliners I have tried. Usually eyeliner tugs at my lids and only faintly goes on...but this is nice and smooth with rich color. A bit pricy, but it's worth it! Smudges a bit during the day, especially if it's muggy or hot out, but a little loose powder underneath the eye works wonders. I was in the market for a new pencil and this fit the bill perfectly. It is soooo black and applies so soft, I don;t have to tug at my skin at all. The color lasts all day. The color is black and rich. The best part is that it is less than half the price of Urban Decay, Kevin Aucoin Laura Geller and other high end designer brands. Try it out.
