The only think I'm upset about is that L'oreal waited until I'm in my 50's to make this stuff. It's a buildable color that is best described as a gel/powder. I wear the sultry smoke every day, it's a wonderful matte nuetral, I see no annoying shimmer in this color. I'm buying my second pot today.

I put this on one morning, forgot to remove it, and woke up wearing it the next morning. Once it sets, it doesn't smudge, rub off or fade. You can build the color by letting it set then applying another layer, or use a brush to use it as eyeliner. You really can apply this with just your fingers which is what I generally do. I've used three colors; Bronzed Taupe, Iced Latte, and Perpetual Purple and love all three. Fair warning: while you do get a fair bit of time to blend and work with it before it sets I wouldn't waste my time. My only complaint is it does tend to leave a shimmer over the lower lid and on your fingers. I don't consider it a huge deal since it's just the shimmer and no color but it might be for others.

The only one I returned to Cvs. A dark silver grey. Really matte and dry looking. Made me look dead. Probably best for lining but I just didn't like the color.
